YOUTH WORK UPDATE

Everyone can agree that young people are the future of the church. Here at Beit Hallel Congregation it is no exception and youth work is one of the most important aspects of our ministry.

It is wonderful to see how God is moving among young people, igniting their hearts with fire and placing in them the desire to serve Him. We place great emphasis on investing a lot of time and resources into our youth and it’s a great joy to be able to be able to share with you some updates and testimonies from our work with the youth.

Three weeks ago, we took our youth on camping trip in the north of Israel. It was a very special time of fellowship for them, prayers, activities, adventures. A real highlight for the whole group was kayaking down the Jordan River.

They had such an amazing time going down the rapids and swimming in the cool river. In the evenings they would all sit around the fire and remember all the biblical stories and events related to Jordan River, beginning with the days of Joshua when the river parted and the people of Israel could finally enter into the Promised Land and all the way through the scriptures until the day of Yeshua’s baptism in the Jordan.

Another joyful update we want to share is that recently our youth leders started also youth home groups. Now our youth also meets in small groups at homes for bible studies, prayer and have more time fellowshipping together. Today we can see how our youth work is really growing and flourishing, and one of the best examples of that is the worship.
