Olga’s Testimony

Olga’s Testimony

Olga is a new Jewish immigrant from Ukraine whose father has been living in Israel for several years. Over the years he would call Olga to convince her to come and live in Israel, but she refused, because she had a prestigious job, her own apartment, a car, and expensive clothes in Ukraine. But when the war began Olga found her city under bombardment, and she decided to leave for Israel. The road was long through several countries, after which she finally ended up in Israel with one suitcase and her cat. She really needed help with clothes and things for the house, and that’s when she made contact with us.

We were more than happy to help Olga in any way we could. We met with Olga to provide her with all kinds of aid, after which we went for a walk with her and her father. He asked us to share more with them about who we are and why we do what we do. We shared about the Lord, salvation, and reconciliation with God through Jesus. We encouraged her that amidst these difficult circumstances she could personally get to know God. Olga listened attentively and asked many questions. She said that she would like to start reading the Bible and that she would like to also start attending our meetings and services.

Amen!
