How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.
Psalm 119:9
The young generation is the one that is often the hardest to reach, not only because of a generational gap but mainly because they were born into a world, unlike the one we were raised in. They haven’t known a life that doesn’t include the internet, smartphones, or social media. The digital age has been an important factor in shaping our young people, and we have to find creative ways to reconnect with them on a deeper level.
One way we found to do that, is to simply disconnect them for a bit from the digital, and connect them to the spiritual, where they will experience far more real and greater things than anything this world has to offer.
With that idea in mind, we launched ‘Summer 4 God’ Youth Program, which is geared towards providing our young kids the opportunity to experience a different kind of summer, one filled with adventures with God, worship, history, fellowship, service to others, experiences and connections (that have nothing to do with WiFi).
To hear from one of our teens how wholeheartedly invested and captivated they get during the days they spend in our Summer 4 God Program, that they forget to check their phones! That says a lot about how powerfully God connects with your youth during this time.
Yeshua is moving powerfully among our youth, leaving His imprints all over their hearts and lives during this unique Summer 4 God program.
Providing young kids with the opportunity to help with our humanitarian projects: unloading, packing, delivering — learning the value of true and selfless service. Taking them to visit some amazing biblical places in Israel, walk through ancient tunnels, and soak up the history that deepens their relationship with Yeshua. Can you think of a better investment in Israeli youth?
When you take teenagers to the Upper Room in Jerusalem, sit them down, and just allow them to experience the deep meaning of what happened in that very room over 2000 years ago, when young disciples, much like them, sat and patiently waited, only to receive God’s promise — the outriding of the Holy Spirit! Propelling them to go out there and change the world.
No one can remain indifferent while living through an experience like that, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to allow our young kids to experience them.
Consider sponsoring an Israeli teen with a gift of $100, or 20 teens with a generous gift of $2000. Investing in the future leaders and disciples of Yeshua in Israel is an investment worth making.
