Natalia’s Story

Natalia's story

A dear Jewish immigrant from Ukraine, Natalia, recently reached out to us for help. She and her children had fled the war zone in Odessa, and found sanctuary in Israel. Thanks to her husband’s relatives already living in Israel, they had a lot of help in arranging the immigration process to Israel. On their way to Israel, they travelled through Moldova, where they were also helped by believers who volunteered at the border. Natalia was deeply touched by how they served the people and prayed for them, but she herself had not yet prayed or made a decision for Jesus.

When Natalia came to our congregation and heard more about the Gospel message, and the salvation that God has prepared for us in Jesus, she listened attentively and her heart was deeply touched by the Holy Spirit. We then offered to pray the prayer of salvation with her and to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She gladly agreed and prayed the prayer of salvation and confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Hallelujah!

We also presented Natalia with her very first Bible to read and to learn more about her new life in Jesus. She also expressed her desire to join us for congregation services and to join us on our Biblical excursions. We continue to pray for Natalia, her children, and their new lives in Israel. Amen!
