Can a Country be Born in a Day?
75 Years of the State of Israel

Can a Country be Born in a Day?

Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.

Isaiah 66:8

Israel’s rebirth as a nation wasn’t just a historic event of the 20th century. It was the event that has shifted and shaped the course of world’s history ever since 1948.

The very existence of Israel serves as a reminder that God’s plans and purposes remain standing, regardless of the years. It also is a strong reminder of God’s faithfulness to fulfill what He promised through His prophets.

Every year, as the nation of Israel is preparing to celebrate its Independence Day, there’s a true sense of fulfillment in the air. To be able to look back and reflect at Israel’s incredibly difficult yet miraculous journey of rebirth and restoration, is to be assured that God will fulfill what He promised.

Its very existence is nothing less than a divine miracle; God’s fulfillment of ancient biblical prophecies.

Israel has lived through 75 turbulent years since its historical rebirth, as well as the history that preceded its establishment in 1948, which was also plagued with countless obstacles. The very existence of the modern State of Israel is threatened daily, yet despite everything, it stands strong, thrives and flourishes, surrounded by enemies that get to see God’s blessing and faithfulness in action.

God promised that Israel would be born from its ashes, and it will be the first phase of its rebirth. The one that will follow will be a spiritual one. As the State of Israel celebrates 75 years of independence, we as believers know God’s greatest miracle of restoration is still ahead — the spiritual rebirth of Israel.

then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer. And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord God.

Ezekiel 39:28-29

He reminds us, believers and followers of Jesus, that the fate of the nations is intricately woven with Israel’s destiny. Their “blindness” was in part a blessing for the rest of the world, as a way to ensure as many nations as possible get to enter God’s fullness.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.”

Romans 11:25-26

The restoration of the nation of Israel is ongoing, and the fullness of His glory is yet to be revealed through the much awaited salvation of His people of Israel.

We’re grateful for your unwavering friendship and support of Israel, as we’re working towards reaching the nation and people of Israel with the message of Salvation!
