Monthly Women’s Meeting
Women reaching Women!

She is more precious than jewels

Proverbs 3:15

When God speaks about women in the Bible, He makes great emphasis on her value and how precious she is to Him, as well as to the world. The way women are portrayed and referenced in the Bible gives us a glimpse into God’s own heart when it comes to the place they occupy in His plan for mankind.

Seeking to edify, encourage and lift up the women in our community is crucial to us. It is also investing into our own future, knowing they are the nurturers of our children, families, communities, churches and society.

Women are the ones that ensure the seeds sown grow healthy and fruitful. It would be difficult to overemphasize the importance of women’s role in our lives, as well as the importance of their God-given calling. Helping them step into it and reach their full potential is both a privilege, as well as a priority to us.

“And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” — Luke 1:44

During our last week’s special women’s gathering there were some amazing and raw moments, where women opened up and poured their hearts out, allowing themselves to be vulnerable while they were being encouraged and held.

One young woman, Zhanna, shared how she has been in active pursuit of God for a while now, trying to find answers to the questions in her heart. Only when she came to our women’s gathering did she feel those questions were answered. The joy of finding what she was looking for, a sense of belonging here at Beit Hallel is absolutely invaluable.

There were women from every possible walk of life. There was a domestic violence survivor who finally felt peace when she was prayed for, a young single mother of 2 who recently arrived in Israel all alone, with no family and finally felt she wasn’t alone anymore, she found her family at Beit Hallel among other women.

These powerful women’s gatherings we host regularly at Beit Hallel are as important for many women as a bandage of an open wound.

Among other things we are called to be carriers of His healing to this hurt world. To be able to do just that for women in our community and give them the opportunity to encounter God through love and kindness, is an amazing blessing!

Consider supporting our women’s ministry here at Beit Hallel that does crucial work among those who need God most.

Beit Hallel is a Messianic Jewish congregation in Ashdod, led by pastor Israel Pochtar, serving holocaust survivors and the poor and needy locally and throughout the nation of Israel, while building up the body of Messiah in the promised land of Israel.
