Beit Hallel Celebrates 18 Years!

Write down the vision And inscribe it clearly on tablets, So that one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:2-3

When the Lord first spoke to us about starting a new congregation, the vision He showed pastor Israel seemed too big and too unattainable given the circumstances at the time.

However, when the Lord gives you a vision that is far bigger than you, it means He will be the one to drive that vision forward and ensure that it will come to pass.

In less than two weeks, Beit Hallel will be celebrating 18 years since it was first established. Time passed in the blink of an eye, yet the journey has been filled with challenges, obstacles, victories, and favor of God, but also a lot of work driven by the love of God and people.

From the beginning pastor Israel knew he had an apostolic calling, which would mean the work would be much more extensive and far-reaching than just establishing a local congregation.

As the ministry grew over the years, we were able to plant and cultivate 7 additional congregations all over Israel.

Biblical cities like Ashkelon, Eilat, Be’er Sheva, Ramle, Rishon LeZion, Nazaret, and Kiryat Gat – are all places we planted congregations, and the work has been incredibly impactful for the growing community in those cities.

So much of what we’ve been able to do over the years with planting, building and cultivating congregations all across Israel is largely thanks to your support and partnership.

YOU have been an integral part of our journey, allowing God to use you to build His kingdom in the land of Israel! Your prayers, ongoing support, generosity and genuine love have been the driving force of the work you see today. You helped us through the challenges, so the victories God gave us are also yours!

On the eve of our 18th anniversary, we just wanted to say THANK YOU, for being a part of our journey, for being a watchman on the walls of this Land and for partnering with the Lord in making His plans for Israel a reality!

Beit Hallel is a Messianic Jewish congregation in Ashdod, led by pastor Israel Pochtar, serving holocaust survivors and the poor and needy locally and throughout the nation of Israel, while building up the body of Messiah in the promised land of Israel.
