Passing the Baton
Our congregation in Ramle has known ups and downs. Over the course of many years, it has seen many challenges, and also amazing fruit.
We are grateful that when God called us to plant a church in Ramle, He blessed us with Ariel and his family, who were a pillar in Ramle, building a work that was not easy, in a place that is far from simple.
Ariel always knew his primary calling and gift was teaching. He took on the pastoral role when BH Ramle was born and was a blessing to the local body of believers.
After carefully praying, he sensed God was closing the pastoral chapter of his life and was calling him to focus on teaching.
It was confirmed when the elders of Beit Hallel prayed and felt God was calling another pastor to take the lead on BH Ramle – Alex Slavutzky.
Alex has been such a precious and integral part of our work for the past 10 years. He is the kind of person that never says no when help is needed. He has been faithful both as a leader, as well as a servant, helping with anything from practical to technical to spiritual. Alex is the first to show up and the last one to leave.
Seeing his incredible faithfulness, we incorporated him into our pastoral work over the past 4 years, enabling him to build closer relationships with people and continue to develop a pastor’s heart.
God’s timing is always perfect. When pastor Ariel sensed his season as a pastor was completed, God had already prepared Alex to step in and take over as the pastor of BH Ramle.
We couldn’t have prayed for a better pastor than the one God prepared in Ariel. He has such a big heart for people and is truly a gifted leader.
It was our privilege to anoint Alex along with the rest of our pastoral team, and pray Aaron’s blessing over him as he steps into his calling as a pastor.
Look out for upcoming news and updates about Ramle and our work there.
