A Generation Rising:
From Seeds of Faith to a Living Legacy

There is something deeply beautiful about watching what God has planted over the years begin to grow, mature, and step into purpose. In ministry, growth is not only measured in numbers or new initiatives—it is most clearly seen in people. In lives that have been nurtured, shaped, and carried through seasons. In children who once sat quietly in the congregation, who later became part of the children’s ministry, then the youth, and now are stepping forward as young adults—hungry for God and ready to walk in their calling. This is the kind of growth that cannot be manufactured. It is the fruit of faithfulness over time, of seeds planted and watered with care, now beginning to bear fruit in a new generation.

Even in the midst of the challenges our nation has faced during this past season of war, we have witnessed something deeply encouraging.

Our youth pastor, together with a group of young leaders, began to sense a stirring from the Lord—a desire to gather young adults more intentionally. Out of prayer, unity, and a shared hunger for more of God, they stepped forward in faith and launched a new young adults ministry. What has followed has been truly special to witness. Young people are coming together—not out of obligation, but out of desire. They are seeking the Lord, praying, building genuine friendships, and creating spaces where faith is lived out in a real and meaningful way. There is joy, there is fellowship, and there is a growing sense that God is doing something fresh among them.

It is a powerful reminder of what happens when seeds planted years ago begin to grow into something far greater than we could have imagined.

As it is written,

“One generation shall commend Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts”

Psalm 145:4

What we are witnessing is exactly that—a generation rising, not disconnected from what came before, but built upon it. There is also something especially meaningful in seeing these young people take initiative. They are not waiting on the sidelines; they are stepping forward, serving within the congregation, participating in ministry projects, and becoming a blessing to others. In doing so, they are discovering that their faith is not only something they receive—it is something they carry, something they live, and something they are now beginning to pass on.

In a time when so much in the world feels uncertain, God is raising up a generation here in Israel that is seeking Him sincerely. A generation that is not ashamed of their faith, but eager to walk in it. A generation that carries both a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and a desire to live in truth. Scripture speaks directly to this calling:

“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity”

1 Timothy 4:12

We are seeing this come to life in front of us, in quiet but powerful ways.

With this also comes a responsibility for all of us. As a community, we are called to stand with them, to encourage them, and to support them as they grow into what God has prepared. These are not simply young people attending gatherings—they are future leaders, ministers, and voices who will carry the message of hope in this land. Investing in them is investing in the future of what God is doing in Israel. We believe that what the Lord is building among these young adults is not small. It is part of something greater—a steady, faithful work of renewal, strengthening, and preparation for what lies ahead.

And just as the Lord has been faithful to plant, He will be faithful to bring it to completion.

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Messiah Yeshua”

Philippians 1:6

Thank you for standing with us, for praying for this generation, and for being part of what God is building here in Israel.

Together, we are not only witnessing growth—we are witnessing legacy in the making.

Andrey’s Story –
Where Kindness Opens the Heart to God

Sometimes the most meaningful moments in ministry don’t begin with a stage or a sermon—they begin with a simple conversation. A shared moment. A willingness to meet someone exactly where they are, without pressure or expectation—just presence, kindness, and truth. It is in these quiet spaces that hearts begin to open, trust begins to form, […]

Pochtar Family Update –
Releasing the Next Generation Into Their Calling

There are moments in ministry that feel especially sacred—not because they are loud or dramatic, but because they quietly reveal the faithfulness of God over time. This is one of those moments for our family. As a pastor, I have had the privilege of watching many lives grow and mature in the Lord, but there […]

Shavuot in Jerusalem:
When the Word Comes Alive in the City of the Great King

There are places in the world where history is remembered—and there are places where it is still alive. Jerusalem is one of those places. You do not simply visit it; you step into it. You walk the same streets where prophets spoke, where prayers have risen for generations, and where the story of redemption unfolded […]

The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
