Tanya’s story is one of those beautiful, unexpected moments where God’s grace breaks through the hardest of times. When we first met her in Ashkelon, she came seeking aid, but it became clear that her true need went far deeper.
During a conversation with Lena from our team, Tanya began to weep as she opened up about the overwhelming grief she had carried for four long years. Her husband had died from severe sickness, and she held herself responsible, feeling she hadn’t done enough to save him. The guilt consumed her, leaving her depressed, withdrawn, and without hope. Life had lost its meaning.
At that moment, Lena felt led to pray with her. She gently shared the message of Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, and spoke of the hope and healing that only He can bring. Tanya listened with an open heart, and when Lena asked if she would like to invite Yeshua into her life, Tanya said yes.
They prayed together, and what happened next was truly a miracle. You could see the transformation as peace, like a flood, washed over Tanya. The weight she had carried for years was lifted, and for the first time in so long, she smiled—joyful and relieved.
Lena invited her to join us at Beit Hallel for our weekly meetings, and Tanya was excited to connect with others. She left that day with a Bible in hand, eager to start reading and to begin a new chapter in her life, no longer defined by sorrow but by the love and hope found in Jesus. Please keep Tanya in your prayers as she continues this journey of faith. Her story is a powerful reminder that God’s love knows no bounds, and He is always near, ready to bring healing to the brokenhearted.
