A Journey of Faith:
Neta’s Story of Hope and Transformation

At Beit Hallel, we are continually amazed by the ways God moves in the lives of those who walk through our doors.

Today, we’re excited to share a powerful testimony from one of our recent women’s gatherings—a story of hope, faith, and the transformative love of Yeshua.

Neta, a first-time visitor, came to our women’s meeting at the invitation of a friend.

As we gathered to share, pray, and encourage one another, the conversation turned to the power of prayer. When asked if she had any prayer requests, Neta opened up about a deeply personal struggle: she had recently been diagnosed with cancer and was facing an upcoming surgery. The weight of her situation was palpable, but so was the presence of God in that moment.

One of our follow-up team members, Helena, shared with Neta the good news of Yeshua—how He bore our sicknesses and infirmities on the cross, offering healing and hope to all who believe. She also shared her own powerful testimony of how God had brought healing into her life, a story that resonated deeply with Neta. When asked if she believed God could heal her, Neta’s response was a heartfelt “Yes.” With gentleness and care, Helena explained the message of salvation and invited Neta to pray a prayer of repentance and accept Yeshua as her Savior.

In that sacred moment, Neta said yes to Yeshua.

She prayed, surrendered her heart, and began a new journey of faith. Since that day, Neta has been eager to grow in her relationship with God. She’s started reading the Bible, asking thoughtful questions about prayer, and seeking guidance on how to deepen her walk with the Lord. As she prepares for her surgery, Neta has also asked for our continued prayer support, and we’re standing with her every step of the way.

Neta’s story is a beautiful reminder of why we gather as a congregation—to share the love of Yeshua, to offer hope in the midst of trials, and to walk alongside one another in faith. We praise God for touching Neta’s heart and for the opportunity to be part of her journey. Let’s continue to pray for her healing, strength, and growing faith as she faces the road ahead.

How You Can Join Us in Prayer

Please lift Neta up in your prayers, asking for God’s healing touch, peace that surpasses understanding, and strength for her surgery and recovery. Pray also for her spiritual growth as she explores her newfound faith and builds a deeper relationship with Yeshua.

With love and blessings,
The Beit Hallel Team

Elohim (אֱלֹהִים): God of Majesty and Power

Elohim (pronounced eh·low·heem) is one of the most frequently used names for God in the Hebrew Bible. It appears in the very first verse of the Bible and sets the tone for who God is: powerful, majestic, and sovereign over all creation. 📖 Biblical Foundation “In the beginning, Elohim created the heavens and the earth.” […]

Selah (סֶלָה): When God Invites You to Pause

Throughout the Psalms, a small Hebrew word appears again and again—Selah (pronounced say-lah). It’s easy to overlook, but when you notice it, something shifts. It’s as if the psalmist, or even God Himself, is reaching into the moment and saying: “Stop. Don’t move on just yet. Sit with this truth and let it sink into […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
