A Powerful Testimony of Healing and Faith:
Irina’s Journey

Irina's Journey

At Beit Hallel Congregation, we are often privileged to witness the extraordinary ways God moves in the lives of His people. Irina’s story is one of these unforgettable testimonies—a powerful reminder of God’s unfailing love, His healing power, and the miracles that come through prayer and faith.

Irina’s son, Vladi, is a believer and a cherished member of our congregation. For months, Vladi faced a profound struggle, battling both physical illness of the nervous system and spiritual attacks that left him drained. Despite his persistent fasting and prayer, his condition worsened, and he eventually fell into a coma.

Irina, however, was not a believer.

While she had occasionally attended congregations during holidays, she didn’t have a personal relationship with God or an understanding of the Scriptures. When she heard the devastating news about Vladi’s condition, she rushed to the hospital, overwhelmed with fear and hopelessness.

There, Irina learned that members of Beit Hallel’s Follow-Up team had been at Vladi’s side, fervently praying for his healing. She was deeply moved by this act of love from people who barely knew her family. For the first time, she began to wonder if God could truly intervene in her life.

As she sat by Vladi’s bedside, Irina realized she desperately needed strength beyond her own. It was then that God orchestrated a divine moment. Miriam, one of our team members, approached Irina and shared a deeply personal story of God’s healing power.

Years ago, Miriam’s own son, David, had faced a grave illness.

Doctors couldn’t diagnose him or find a cure, and in her desperation, Miriam brought him to a local congregation. When the pastor offered to pray for David, he first asked Miriam, “Have you accepted Yeshua as your Lord and Savior?” Miriam didn’t fully understand the question, but something in her heart stirred. She repented of her sins, asked Yeshua to be her Lord, and prayed with the pastor. In that moment, God miraculously healed David.

As Miriam recounted this testimony, she reminded Irina that the same God who healed David could heal Vladi too. Moved by this, Irina’s heart began to soften. For the first time, she opened herself to the possibility of faith. Miriam gently invited her to pray a prayer of repentance, surrendering her life to Yeshua.

With tears streaming down her face, Irina prayed: “Lord, I believe in You. Heal my son and strengthen my heart.” It was a simple yet deeply sincere prayer that marked the beginning of her transformation.

At that moment, she felt a peace she had never known before—a peace that only God can give.

The very next day, a miracle unfolded. Vladi woke up from his coma and began to recover. Irina was overwhelmed with gratitude and couldn’t wait to share the good news. The following Friday, she attended a service at Beit Hallel Congregation, accompanied by Vladi.

The congregation welcomed them with open arms, celebrating the miracle God had performed. Irina expressed her heartfelt thanks to everyone who had prayed for her family. She received a Bible as a gift—a symbol of her newfound faith—and has since become an active member of our community.

Today, Irina and Vladi attend services regularly, their lives transformed by the power of God. Irina’s story is a testament to the power of prayer, the love of a supportive faith community, and the life-changing presence of Yeshua.

This testimony reminds us all that God is always ready to heal, restore, and embrace us when we come to Him with open hearts. We give all glory to God for His faithfulness and rejoice in the work He has done in Irina and Vladi’s lives.

Praise be to Yeshua, our Healer and Redeemer!

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
