A Season of Warmth:
Gratitude for Lives Touched Across Our Cities

We want to begin with a heartfelt thank you. To our partners and friends—your generosity and faithfulness made this past week possible. Because you stood with us, warmth reached homes and hope reached hearts at a critical moment. Your partnership is not abstract; it becomes real in the lives of people who are navigating hardship and uncertainty, often quietly and with dignity.

Last week, during the cold winter days, God enabled us, through your partnership, to distribute 300 heaters to elderly men and women and to new Jewish immigrants in Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Jerusalem.

What might seem like a simple appliance became something far greater. Each heater represented dignity, care, and the reassurance that someone had not been forgotten. For many, it was a reminder that they are not alone as they build or rebuild their lives here in Israel.

For many of those we serve, winter adds real pressure. Fixed incomes, modest living spaces, and the uncertainty of beginning again in a new country make even basic needs difficult to meet. Rising costs and limited resources often force families and elderly individuals to choose carefully how to use what little they have. For parents, a heater meant their children could sleep warmly and safely through the coldest nights. For the elderly, it meant relief from the cold, greater safety, and a renewed sense of peace. In those moments, practical help became a clear expression of God’s care. Warmth went beyond temperature—it reached deeply into people’s lives.

Jesus reminds us:

“I was cold and you clothed Me… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for Me”

Matthew 25:36, 40

This project allowed us to respond to that calling in a tangible and faithful way. As heaters were distributed, the atmosphere was filled with gratitude—smiles, tears, and simple words of thanks. Some shared stories of their journeys to Israel and the challenges they continue to face. Others held the box close, visibly moved by the knowledge that someone had thought of them and taken action.

Your support reached across cities and into individual homes, turning need into hope. Together, we witnessed how a single act of kindness can bring comfort, restore dignity, and reflect the faithfulness of God. Small acts, when done in love, often carry a weight far greater than we imagine. As Scripture says:

“Blessed is the one who considers the poor; the Lord delivers him in the day of trouble”

Psalm 41:1

Thank you for walking with us and for sharing in God’s heart for His people. Because of your partnership, warmth was felt across Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Jerusalem—and lives were touched in meaningful ways. We are grateful to stand with you as we continue to care for the people God brings across our path.

Marina’s Journey —
Touched by Love, Drawn by Grace

Some journeys to faith begin with questions. Others begin in moments when life feels fragile and uncertain. Very often, people do not come to faith because they were persuaded by words, but because they encountered love at a time when they had little strength left. Marina’s journey is one of those stories. For many years, […]

Preparing a Space of Blessing:
Receiving Those Whom God Is Bringing Home

There are moments in ministry when God closes one door—not to take something away, but to gently invite us into the next step of faithfulness. These moments are often quieter than we expect. They require trust, patience, and a willingness to begin again with open hands. That is where we find ourselves as a congregation […]

Beit Hallel Ashkelon —
Where Ancient Foundations Meet a Living Work of God

Ashkelon is one of Israel’s most ancient cities, carrying more than 4,000 years of history within its walls. Archaeologists discovered here the oldest standing city gates in the world (shown below)—gates that were never destroyed or buried, but remained upright through the centuries. These are the same gates Abraham would have walked through in his […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

One Family’s Journey of Aliyah, Resilience, and Belonging

“We have nowhere left to return to. We’ve already returned. Home.” These are Olga’s words, and they tell us something about the family we’ve come to know through our work at Beit Hallel. Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
