Artyom, a new Jewish immigrant, recently reached out to our team at Beit Hallel Congregation, seeking help in establishing himself in Israel.
From the very first meeting, he felt a deep connection to who we are and was curious about why we do what we do. That day, our team leader, Chaim, had the privilege of sitting down with Artyom, taking time to share about our congregation’s mission to serve those in need and share the love of God in tangible ways.
As Chaim shared his personal testimony of coming to faith in Yeshua, Artyom was visibly moved. He listened intently and then shared his own incredible story—a testimony of God’s protection over his life. Artyom explained that when he made the decision to leave Ukraine for Israel, he didn’t fully understand why. But soon, the pieces began to fall into place.
He realized that God had been leading him along this path from the very beginning.
He left Ukraine the day before the war started—a moment he now sees as God’s divine protection over him. Shortly after arriving in Israel, he was diagnosed with cancer. Yet again, God’s hand was upon him. The cancer was detected early, and Artyom received life-saving surgery, thanks to the world-class medical care in Israel.
With gratitude in his heart, Artyom told Chaim that he now sees God’s fingerprints all over his life. He recognized that God has been protecting and guiding him, even when he didn’t fully understand it at the time.
Chaim invited Artyom to attend our congregation’s meetings, and Artyom was eager to join.
He quickly formed deep friendships with other believers at Beit Hallel and began opening his heart to the Word of God. Artyom now sees himself on a journey, walking the path that God has set before him. He continues to grow in the grace and knowledge of Yeshua, trusting in God’s plan for his life.
Artyom’s story is a powerful reminder of how God works in the most mysterious ways to guide and protect His people. We are so grateful to witness his journey and to see him stepping into the calling that God has placed on his life.
Truly, God’s hand is upon him!
Amen!
