A Testimony of Answered Prayer:
God Moved Mountains for Leon

Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Isaiah 65:24 (NIV)

This past Thursday evening, something truly powerful unfolded at Beit Hallel Congregation. We had the privilege of hosting a dynamic prayer seminar led by our dear friend and veteran intercessor, Suzette. For decades, Suzette has carried a deep anointing to teach and equip believers in the ministry of prayer and intercession, and her time with us was nothing short of impactful.

The seminar was not just a teaching session—it became a sacred time of standing together in faith and lifting one another up before the Lord. Among those present was Alon, a young man from our Jerusalem fellowship whose life has been radically transformed by the Gospel. Alon gave his heart to Yeshua at one of our Jerusalem services not long ago, and it’s been a joy to watch him grow in faith and boldness.

But Alon wasn’t alone in this story.

He has a twin brother, Leon, who lives in Haifa. Unlike Alon, Leon has not yet accepted the Lord. Yet Alon has been faithfully sowing seeds of faith, sharing his testimony with his brother and telling him about the life-changing love of Jesus.

After the first session of the prayer seminar on Thursday evening, our team and participants gathered around Alon to pray specifically for Leon. We cried out to God on his behalf—asking the Lord to remove every obstacle that stood in his way, to touch his heart, and somehow, even miraculously, make a way for him to come to Jerusalem and encounter God’s presence.

And then came Saturday.

To everyone’s astonishment, Leon walked through the doors on the final day of the seminar.

Even Alon was stunned—he hadn’t expected it at all. Just two days earlier, Leon had no intention of coming. He was facing several serious personal issues, the biggest of which was needing to urgently find someone to take over the lease on his apartment in Haifa so he could relocate. That burden had weighed heavily on him for weeks, with no apparent solution in sight.

But then, God moved.

On Friday—less than 24 hours after we prayed—things began to shift. Without any striving or effort on Leon’s part, new tenants were suddenly found, and one by one, his other issues began to resolve. Doors that had remained closed for so long suddenly opened.

And just like that, Leon arrived at the prayer seminar on Saturday.

In a beautiful, almost poetic moment, Leon stood next to his brother Alon on the very spot where we had prayed for him two nights earlier. God had moved. Mountains were removed. The impossible became possible.

Though Leon hasn’t yet fully surrendered his life to the Lord, something has changed. His heart is soft. He’s now planning to move in with Alon and begin attending our Jerusalem fellowship regularly.

We believe this is just the beginning.

This testimony is a powerful reminder of the promise in Isaiah 65:24—our God hears and responds, often before we’ve even finished praying. When we intercede together in unity and faith, heaven responds. Sometimes quickly. Always faithfully.

Let this story encourage you. Keep praying for your family. Keep believing for your friends. Don’t give up on those you’ve been lifting before the Lord for years. God is already working behind the scenes—even when we don’t see it yet.

Let’s keep pressing in. Miracles are waiting on the other side of our prayers!

Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
