A Testimony of Healing and Repentance in Jerusalem

It’s always a blessing to share powerful stories of how Yeshua is working in people’s lives in Israel, as it serves as a reminder that God is not done with Israel, and that “all of Israel will be saved!”

One such story recently came out of our outreach project in Jerusalem—one that reminds us of God’s unending mercy and love reaching those who are seeking Him, even when they may not fully understand it.

Recently, a young man named Alexey found our Beit Hallel website online and felt compelled to get in touch with us. Alexey lives in Jerusalem, which was a wonderful coincidence since he could simply join us for one of our weekly gatherings in Jerusalem for a face-to-face meeting. The following week Alexey joined us for our meeting and was warmly received by our outreach team.  As soon as we sat down with him and introduced ourselves, he asked, “Are you Believers in Jesus?”

We knew right there and then that God had sent Alexey to us!

As we spoke, we could feel that his heart was wide open, so we began sharing about our ministry in Israel—how we help those who are building new lives in Israel, how we support those in need, and how we shine the love of Yeshua to all in Israel. Alexey was very pleased to hear about the work that we do in the land, and admitted to us that He reached out to us because he was in desperate need of prayer. He explained that he’d been struggling with severe dizziness, barely being able to walk without his mother’s help, and desperate for something he hadn’t yet found. His mother, standing by his side, had seen the doctors and diagnoses come and go, yet nothing brought relief.

As Alexey had spoken, one of our team members, Pastor Chaim, sensed a divine opportunity to share his own journey and how God had miraculously healed him from a similar battle with dizziness after just one prayer. Chaim also shared how he had come to a saving knowledge of Yeshua, and how the Lord had turned his life completely around. Alexey’s face softened when he heard this, and with deep longing, he asked for prayer.

Pastor Chaim gently stepped forward, took Alexey’s hands, and prayed over him, for complete healing and restoration in his body, as well as to invite Alexey to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Right at that moment the Holy Spirit touched Alexey, and he turned his heart  toward God, and received Yeshua as His Lord and Savior. His mother, observing it all with both hope and doubt, allowed us to pray over her as well, as her heart was stirred by the love and faith she witnessed.

After the prayer, Alexey experienced a noticeable improvement—he even looked different, as though a burden had been lifted. Although he initially intended to leave with his mother after receiving prayer, he made a surprising choice: he allowed her to continue on home without him, choosing instead to stay for the entire evening service, visibly strengthened, with no dizziness present, and filled with a new peace. With heartfelt gratitude, he thanked us, expressing how much the prayer and presence of Yeshua had touched him. We invited him to also join us for our next service and to consider enrolling in our Alpha discipleship course, to which he gladly agreed

In moments like these, we see so clearly that God’s love goes far beyond words—it reaches deep into hearts and transforms lives. We need to remember that each act of faith, each prayer, and each open heart brings His Kingdom closer, even here to where it all started, in Jerusalem.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer for Alexey, his mother, and all those in Israel who are searching for healing, hope, and the love of Yeshua.

Halleluyah!

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

Hebrew Word of the Week:

Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
