Alex’s Story:
A Testimony of God’s Grace and Mercy

Alex, a 40-year-old man, has lived in Israel for the past 10 years with his wife, Marina. During their early days in the country, we, at Beit Hallel, had the privilege of meeting them through our follow-up team. His wife, Marina, even attended one of our home groups for a while.

Yet, over the years, they seemed to drift away, their hearts not quite ready to commit fully to the Lord. Although they stopped attending meetings, we never stopped caring. Our team kept them in our prayers, trusting in God’s perfect timing, as we do for all those He places on our path.

But recently, a life-changing event began to unfold. Marina reached out to us with urgent news — Alex had suffered a serious injury at work. He had fallen from a height of three meters, head first, a fall that should have ended in tragedy. Iron beams were dangerously close to where he fell, but by the grace of God, Alex miraculously landed on his feet. Though he injured his leg, it was clear that something much greater had protected him from a worse fate.

Marina asked if our follow-up team could visit Alex in the hospital to pray for him.

Without hesitation, we went to see him. When we arrived, we found him open and receptive to our prayers. As we shared a little about the Lord’s goodness and the power of His salvation, Alex’s heart softened. He asked how he could invite the Lord into his life, and we guided him through a prayer of repentance. He eagerly prayed with us, asking for both healing and a new beginning in the Lord.

After the prayer, we witnessed something beautiful — Alex, who had been weary and downtrodden, began to smile. The weight he had been carrying seemed to lift. That evening, Marina sent us a heartfelt message of thanks, telling us that our visit and prayer had uplifted Alex in a way they hadn’t expected. She shared that he had been struggling with discouragement and losing heart, but the presence of the Holy Spirit during our visit had cheered him tremendously.

They both felt deeply moved by the Lord’s touch and expressed a renewed desire to reconnect with our congregation and with Yeshua. It was clear to us that God was stirring something new in their lives — a restoration of their faith and relationship with Him.

We praise the Lord for opening Alex’s heart and for the miraculous protection He provided during what could have been a fatal accident. We are planning to visit him again in the hospital and look forward to welcoming both Alex and Marina back into the church family.

We ask that you join us in praying for Alex’s continued healing and for the full restoration of their relationship with the Lord. May God continue to work in their lives, drawing them closer to Him, and may His perfect will be done in their family.

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
