Birth of a new church on Shavuot!

This Shavuot (Pentecost) is a double celebration for us, as we are finally launching our new congregation in the city of Rishon Le-Zion, on the day of Pentecost.

The couple who have been commissioned to serve as Pastors of our new congregation are Igor and Natalie Grossman. They were the very first people to get saved at our congregation in Ashdod.

They’ve been growing and developing at our congregation ever since, and they have served faithfully on the congregational leadership team as elders. Now the time has come for them to take up the Pastoral mantle!

The Lord spoke to me about Rishon LeZion a long time ago and we’ve been fervently praying ever since for that city and for God to open doors for us there. Igor and Natalie received a burden for Rishon LeZion and they understood that God was calling them to serve in the Pastoral ministry there. In obedience to the call of God, Igor and Natalie have since moved out of Ashdod to root themselves anew in the city of Rishon LeZion. We’ve also sent out two additional families along with them to assist with the initial arrangements.

As soon as the new congregation has been launched on the day of Pentecost, a few more families will also be arriving from Ashdod to assist at the congregation. We currently have 20 new believers in Rishon LeZion who’ve received the Lord over the past few months.

We’re very excited, as this is a carefully prayed-over step that we’re taking. What a blessing to have the very first service of a newly birthed church on Shavuot – the day when the first church was birthed in Jerusalem over 2000 years ago.

Igor and Nathalie – the pastors we’re sending to lead the new congregation in Rishon Le-Zion are more than ready and believe God will use them to establish His house of praise in that city. They will need all our support and prayers in this new journey.

It is a festival God has commanded in His word (Lev. 23:9-22) to celebrate from generation to generation. The feast is said to […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Four Generations. One Place to Call Home —
One Family’s Journey of Aliyah, Resilience, and Belonging

“We have nowhere left to return to. We’ve already returned. Home.” These are Olga’s words, and they tell us something about the family we’ve come to know through our work at Beit Hallel. Since arriving in Israel, Olga and her family have experienced the joy of welcoming a new baby, the challenges of starting over, […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
