Bless the children in the new school year!

A new school year is a joyous occasion for children as they start a new season of interesting subjects, sports, and opportunities! They’re always so excited before the big day – going back to school!

Through our humanitarian outreach projects we have come to know many families and many children who suffer severe poverty and simply can’t afford new school supplies. For these children the new school year has become an intimidating obstacle, not something they are excited about.

Our “Back To School Project” aims to help children and their parents to purchase all the necessary school supplies for the new school year starting in September. It’s a costly process and every Summer parents are forced to spend large amounts of money on text books, stationary, and school equipment.

We want to help about 300 children between the age of 6-13 that come from the following backgrounds:

  • Children of poverty-stricken believers
  • Children of Jewish refugees who fled from the war-torn Ukraine
  • Children of single mothers

We would like to invite YOU to sponsor a needy child for the new school year!

For as little as 50 US dollars, you can sponsor 1 needy child with school supplies for the new school year. You can even bless a large family with more than one child, whose parents will need to purchase the supplies for every child individually.

Please help us to equip these children sufficiently to take on the new school year with confidence and self-assurance, knowing that they will lack nothing!

Matthew 19:14 – Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Here are some precious moments from last year’s school project.

Thank you for joining hands with us, Iliya, and for helping the children in need.

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Four Generations. One Place to Call Home —
One Family’s Journey of Aliyah, Resilience, and Belonging

“We have nowhere left to return to. We’ve already returned. Home.” These are Olga’s words, and they tell us something about the family we’ve come to know through our work at Beit Hallel. Since arriving in Israel, Olga and her family have experienced the joy of welcoming a new baby, the challenges of starting over, […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
