Bringing Hope and Love Through Humanitarian Outreach

At Beit Hallel Congregation, humanitarian work is not just an aspect of what we do—it is a cornerstone of our mission. Rooted in the biblical call to care for the stranger, the widow, and the orphan, we strive to extend God’s love in tangible ways to those in need.

Our congregation is privileged to serve a diverse group of people, including new Jewish immigrants, Ukrainian and Russian refugees, single-parent families, and Holocaust survivors. For many of these individuals and families, the transition to life in Israel comes with significant challenges. The high cost of living, cultural adjustments, and emotional strain can make even daily necessities difficult to secure.

That’s where your partnership enables us to step in and make a difference.

This past Wednesday, our team hosted a special distribution event as part of our New Jewish Immigrants Project. Through your generosity, we were able to provide 500 food baskets to families in need. These baskets contained essential items to sustain them through the week. In addition, we distributed new clothes and shoes, ensuring that these families not only had food to eat but also the dignity and confidence that come with being properly clothed.

Our outreach extended into Shabbat as well.

After our evening service, we distributed dairy product hampers to 140 attendees in need. These hampers, filled with high-quality and delicious dairy products, were a source of nourishment and a reminder of God’s abundant provision. It was a joy to see the smiles and gratitude on the faces of those who received these gifts.

However, these acts of kindness are more than just practical assistance; they are a demonstration of God’s love in action. Through these projects, we are not only meeting physical needs but also touching hearts and transforming lives. Many recipients have shared how these expressions of care have deepened their understanding of God’s love for them.

These initiatives are only possible because of the unwavering support of friends and partners like you.

Your prayers, financial contributions, and words of encouragement empower us to continue this vital work. Together, we are fulfilling the biblical mandate to bless Israel and be a light to the nations.

As we look to the future, we are committed to expanding our reach and enhancing our programs. We invite you to join us in prayer for wisdom and provision as we seek to serve even more people in need.

Thank you for standing with us and being a vital part of this ministry.

May God richly bless you for your generosity and for partnering with us to bring hope, dignity, and love to those who need it most.
Amen!

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
