Called to the Nations:
When the Word Goes Forth from Israel

Called to the Nations: When the Word Goes Forth from Israel

A few days ago, people across Sweden opened their newspaper and saw a familiar face looking back at them from the front page. It was Pastor Israel, standing behind a pulpit, speaking about Israel and its place in God’s purposes in these last days. The photograph had been taken at the Europe Conference in Uppsala, where thousands had gathered—and where God had once again opened a door for a voice from Israel to be heard.

But the newspaper is only one glimpse of something much bigger that God has been doing. From conference stages in Europe to television broadcasts reaching audiences across Europe and Asia, doors are opening for Pastor Israel to preach the Word, pray for people, speak about what God is doing in Israel, and point hearts toward Yeshua. And every one of those opportunities carries a remarkable reminder: from Israel, the Word is still going out to the nations.

There is something deeply meaningful about this moment. For generations, believers throughout the nations have prayed for Israel, stood with this land, supported the work of the Gospel here, and helped sow seeds of faith. Today, we are witnessing another part of that beautiful story as Israeli believers are being invited to carry the Word outward—to encourage the Body of Messiah across the nations and share a perspective that can only come from living, serving, and following Yeshua here in the land of the Bible.

At the Europe Conference, several thousand people gathered in Uppsala, Sweden, and Pastor Israel had the opportunity to minister and speak about Israel in light of the Word of God. His message and presence at the conference were later featured on the front page of Swedish Christian newspaper Dagen. Other doors have opened through Christian television, allowing the message to reach people across Europe and Asia—many of whom we may never meet face-to-face.

Yet we are just as grateful for the smaller doors.

Some opportunities place Pastor Israel before thousands. Others bring him into a small local church, where he can speak personally with believers, pray with people, and encourage a congregation gathered quietly together. The value of an open door is not measured by the size of the audience, but by the people God has placed on the other side of it.

That is what makes these opportunities so precious to us. The platform may change, the country may change, and the number of people listening may change, but the calling remains the same: to preach the Gospel, minister to people, bring a living Word from Israel, and make Yeshua known.

Friends, please pray with us for every door the Lord continues to open. Pray for Pastor Israel as he ministers among the nations, for wisdom and boldness to speak what God places on his heart, and for those listening—that the Word would take root and bear fruit in their lives.

From Jerusalem to the nations, may His Word continue to go forth.

A Faith That Carries Her —
Masha’s Story

There are some places you come back to because you know what is waiting for you there. For Masha, our congregation has become one of those places. When she is able to join us, she comes ready to hear the Word, to pray, to talk, and sometimes simply to sit with people who know her […]

One More Step Home —
A Child’s First Time to School in Israel

The backpack may be new. The classroom certainly will be. There will be unfamiliar names to learn, new routines to follow, and perhaps Hebrew words that still take an extra moment to understand. But when a child who has recently come home to Israel walks through the school gates for the first time, something much […]

Where the Story Still Speaks —
Upcoming Evangelism in Jerusalem

You can grow up in Israel surrounded by the places of the Bible and still never truly hear the Gospel. You can know the names of the prophets, recognize the stories of Scripture, and walk streets where biblical history unfolded—and yet never have someone open the Word of God with you and tell you personally […]

The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
