For Such a Time as This —
A Gospel Invitation in Jerusalem

Purim is the story of a decisive moment. A moment when silence would have been safer, but obedience was more necessary. When Esther stepped forward, she did not know how the story would unfold—only that there was a time when courage could not be postponed.

“And who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14

That question still echoes—especially here in Jerusalem.

As we approach the end of February, we are preparing for a Purim Evangelism Event in Jerusalem, designed specifically to reach 150 people from Jerusalem with the message of the Gospel. This is not simply a gathering; it is a carefully planned day of encounter—one that brings together biblical history, present reality, and the living hope of Messiah in the very city where God’s redemptive purposes continue to unfold.

Jerusalem is not symbolic—it is central. The prophets declared that from Zion would go forth the Word of the Lord (Isaiah 2:3), and history has proven that what begins in Jerusalem echoes far beyond its walls. In seasons like the one we are living through—marked by tension, global confusion, and spiritual distortion—the need to speak truth in this city becomes even more urgent. When deception spreads loudly across the nations, the response of the people of God must not be retreat, but clarity.

This outreach is designed to remove barriers and create space for honest engagement. The day will include a dedicated venue, lunch, transportation, and a guided tour of significant biblical sites in Jerusalem, led by knowledgeable tour guides who connect Scripture to the physical landscape. Walking through the streets where prophecy was spoken and fulfilled creates a unique openness. The Gospel is not presented as foreign or detached from Jewish history—it is presented within the very soil of Jerusalem itself.

For many in this city, faith conversations are complex. There is history, tradition, skepticism, and often deep spiritual fatigue. Yet there is also hunger—sometimes quiet, sometimes unspoken. Purim reminds us that God works behind the scenes long before deliverance becomes visible. In the book of Esther, His name is not mentioned, yet His sovereignty shapes every turn. In the same way, we trust that hearts are being prepared even now. “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news” (Isaiah 52:7). In Jerusalem, those mountains are literal—and the need for good news is real.

The cost to sponsor one participant is $100, covering every aspect of the day and making it possible for each individual to attend without financial burden. Your support ensures that 150 people in Jerusalem will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel presented thoughtfully, respectfully, and clearly. “How can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard?”(Romans 10:14). Partnership makes proclamation possible.

This is not about numbers alone. It is about moments. One conversation. One question asked. One seed planted. In a city where so much history has unfolded, we believe God is still writing new chapters. Purim teaches us that what appears fragile can become decisive, and what feels hidden can become transformative. Speaking hope in Jerusalem is not repetition—it is obedience.

We invite you to stand with us in this sacred responsibility. By sponsoring one person—or several—you are participating directly in the proclamation of the Gospel in the city where God placed His name. $100 opens the door for one heart in Jerusalem to encounter hope.

As Scripture calls us, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalms 122:6). And as we pray, we also act. Thank you for helping us speak light in Jerusalem—for such a time as this.

Alina’s Testimony

One of the most beautiful parts of ministry is not found in large events or visible moments, but in faithful follow-up — in the quiet consistency of staying connected long enough for trust to grow. Recently in Jerusalem, it was our Beit Hallel Follow-Up team who became the bridge in one such story. Yael and […]

From Sorrow to Joy —
Purim Kids Project

Purim is one of the most joyful celebrations on the Jewish calendar. Costumes, laughter, gifts, and sweet treats fill the streets of Israel. But behind the celebration lies a deeper story—a story of reversal. What was meant for destruction was turned into deliverance. What began in fear ended in rejoicing. The book of Esther tells us that […]

A Reflection with Pastor Sasson Pochtar

This week, we want to pause and reflect on a verse that has carried generations through seasons of uncertainty and sorrow. “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me” Psalms 23:4 These words are familiar to many of us, yet sometimes […]

The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:

The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
