Found in Jerusalem:
Alon’s Testimony of Salvation

It is always a joy to share the beautiful and powerful testimonies that come from our evangelism and discipleship teams here in Israel. Each story is a fresh reminder of the transforming power of the Gospel and the faithfulness of God in reaching His people, one heart at a time. Today, we are excited to share the moving story of Alon, a young man whose life was radically changed by an encounter with Yeshua.

Originally from Ashkelon, Alon first connected with one of our dear team members, Lena, who reached out and built a genuine friendship with him and his family. Through her faithful witness, a seed was planted. Later, when Alon moved closer to Jerusalem, we invited him to join us for a special service during one of our outreach projects. That evening, we showed the film “Redemption” — a powerful visual presentation centered on Passover (Pesach), vividly portraying the significance of the Lamb’s sacrifice for Israel’s redemption — both in the days of Moses and ultimately through the New Covenant in the sacrifice of Yeshua, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

As the evening ended and the room began to empty, we noticed that Alon lingered quietly in his seat. It was clear that something profound was stirring deep within his heart. One of our team members approached him gently and asked, “Did the film touch your heart?”

Alon’s expression said it all — his heart was wide open.

In that simple, Spirit-led moment, we asked him the most important question of all:

“Would you like to invite Yeshua into your heart?”

Without hesitation, Alon said, “Yes.”

We stepped aside with him, sharing personal testimonies to help him understand that receiving Yeshua is not just an emotional response, but a deliberate, heartfelt decision — a surrender of one’s life into His loving hands. Alon listened intently, understanding the significance of the moment. Then, with great sincerity, he prayed a prayer of repentance out loud, inviting Yeshua to be his Lord and Savior.

Afterward, we celebrated this new beginning! We gifted Alon a Bible, gathered around him as a team to pray blessings over his life, and even signed his Bible with words of encouragement and hope. In that moment, heaven rejoiced — and so did we!

A few days later, we spoke with Alon again — and his voice was full of life and joy. He shared, “After that prayer, it felt like a heavy burden was lifted off me. A joy filled my heart! Even my brother noticed — he said I looked younger! Others noticed too.”

He continued, “I feel renewed. I have found what I was searching for. I realize now that I needed to be at your service in Jerusalem — I had tried to attend others before, but it never worked out. This time, God brought me to the right place.”

Where once there was emptiness, now there is fullness. Where once there was heaviness, now there is freedom and joy.

As the Scriptures declare:

Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2 Corinthians 5:17

We rejoice with Alon and continue to pray for his growth, discipleship, and deepening relationship with Yeshua. His story reminds us why we do what we do — building bridges, planting seeds of truth, and proclaiming the hope of salvation to the people of Israel.

Thank you for standing with us!

Your prayers, your support, and your partnership are helping to change lives for eternity. Let’s continue to believe together for a great harvest in Israel!

Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
