From Brokenness to Joy:
A Life Transformed by Yeshua

There is nothing more powerful than witnessing God’s love at work in a broken heart. Recently, we had the privilege of walking alongside Eugenia, a precious woman whose life has been completely transformed through the power of the Gospel and the discipleship course she joined here in Jerusalem.

When Eugenia first came to our discipleship course, she was carrying heavy burdens. She had recently gone through the pain of a divorce, and not long after, her father passed away. The grief and loneliness overwhelmed her, and depression began to take root. She often shared how she felt trapped in a dark place, where every day seemed heavy and hopeless.

It was the Beit Hallel follow-up team that became the catalyst for change in her life. They reached out, offered care, and walked alongside her with patience and compassion. Through regular conversations, prayer, and encouragement, they helped her take small steps toward healing. During one session—when the teaching focused on forgiveness—God touched Eugenia’s heart in a deep and personal way. In that moment, supported and guided by the team, she surrendered her pain, repented, and gave her life to the Lord. Tears of relief and joy streamed down her face as she sensed the weight of sorrow begin to lift.

From that point on, her life began to change in tangible ways. With the team’s continued support, Eugenia started reading her Bible daily and attending weekly gatherings with renewed eagerness. She shared how she felt lighter, more hopeful, and more at peace after each prayer session. God’s hand was evident in the practical details of her life too—helping her find a safe and comfortable new apartment, guiding her through challenges at work, and renewing her relationships with family and friends.

The depression that once dominated her days has now been replaced by a steady joy and a deep sense of peace. Eugenia’s heart has been healed, and she radiates gratitude in everything she does. Today, she prays every day, seeks God’s guidance, and looks forward to each weekly meeting with her spiritual family. Where she once felt abandoned and alone, she now experiences God’s abiding presence and the love of a supportive community.

Her testimony reminds us why discipleship and follow-up matter so much. It’s not just about learning—it’s about seeing lives healed, hope restored, and hearts transformed. Truly, as Scripture says:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

Eugenia’s story is a living example of this truth. It’s a reminder that every caring conversation, every prayer, every act of encouragement can be the catalyst for someone’s transformation. This is why we continue to invest our hearts and resources into discipleship and outreach here in Israel—because every life touched is a life changed forever.

We are so thankful for your prayers and support, which make it possible for more people like Eugenia to encounter the love of Yeshua and step into the joy of a new life.

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

There is something deeply meaningful about […]

200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
