From Prayer to Healing, From Healing to Faith –
Olga from Jerusalem

One of the most meaningful aspects of ministry at Beit Hallel Congregation is not simply praying for a need once, but walking patiently and faithfully with people over time. It is choosing to stay present through long seasons of uncertainty, standing alongside those who are hurting, and trusting the Lord to work in ways that are sometimes quiet, gradual, and deeply personal.

As you read this testimony, you may find yourself in a season of waiting. Perhaps you are praying for healing — for yourself or for someone you love. Perhaps you are asking the Lord for direction, strength, or reassurance in the middle of a difficult situation. Olga’s story is shared not only to testify of what the Lord has done, but also to encourage you that He is near, attentive, and faithful — even when the journey feels long.

About a year ago, our follow-up team was contacted regarding a woman named Olga from Jerusalem. Olga was facing a serious battle with cancer. The diagnosis brought physical pain, emotional weight, and deep uncertainty about the future. Like many people who reach out for prayer, she carried questions that had no easy answers and fears that were difficult to voice.

Our follow-up team began praying for Olga regularly.

They prayed not only for healing, but also for peace, strength, and for the Lord’s presence to be close to her in every moment. These prayers were offered faithfully, month after month, trusting that the Lord hears every cry and sees every tear — even when answers are not immediate.

The team stayed in contact with Olga, continuing to encourage her and to lift her name before the Lord. There was no pressure and no rush — only steady prayer, compassion, and care. In many ways, this is how the Lord often works: through consistency, through love that does not give up, and through believers who are willing to stand in the gap for others.

And over time, the Lord began to move.

Recently, Olga shared an update that deeply touched our hearts. She testified that her condition has improved significantly. She feels stronger, her overall health has progressed, and even her hair has grown back — a visible and emotional sign of recovery after a very difficult season. With gratitude and conviction, Olga shared that she believes the Lord healed her through the prayers of believers who stood with her and did not stop praying.

Yet this testimony goes beyond physical healing.

As Olga reflected on this past year, she shared something even more precious. Through this journey, she began to believe in the Lord personally. What started as receiving prayer became an encounter with God Himself. As others prayed for her, her heart slowly opened. Faith took root. Today, Olga speaks with the Lord every day. Prayer is no longer something happening around her — it has become a daily conversation and a living relationship.

This is a powerful reminder for all of us.

The Lord does not only heal bodies — He draws hearts. He does not only answer prayers — He invites people into a relationship with Himself. Sometimes the miracle we are praying for opens the door to a deeper miracle we did not even know we needed.

For those of you who are praying faithfully and may feel unseen or discouraged, let this testimony strengthen you. The Lord uses every prayer. He honors faithfulness, even when the results take time. No prayer is wasted.

No season of waiting is empty when it is placed in His hands.

May this testimony encourage you to continue praying, to continue trusting, and to continue walking closely with the Lord. He is still at work. He still heals. He still restores. And He is faithful to complete what He begins.

Where Do You Stand on Israel? — Walking in Alignment in This Season

As we continue to follow what is happening here in Israel, many of us find ourselves pausing more often, reflecting, and praying. The pace of the news is fast, opinions are loud, and emotions run high. Yet beneath all of this, there is a quieter question that the Lord seems to be asking His people […]

Strengthening the Roots —
Why Discipleship Matters in Israel

In every season of true growth, God first strengthens the roots. Over the past months, we have sensed a clear and gentle leading from the Lord to focus more intentionally on discipleship—not as a program to run, but as a calling to live. It is a calling to raise up believers who are grounded in […]

A Place for Revival Being Prepared —
and a Generation Already Stepping In

In Ashdod, something beautiful is unfolding. As our Evangelism and Discipleship Center moves into its final stages of renovation, we are witnessing more than progress in walls, wiring, and rooms. We are seeing hearts awaken, faith activated, and a generation rise up in response to what God is preparing among us. For many months now, […]

When God Knows the Whole Story:
The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

Marina* came to our Sukkot celebration carrying a fear she could do nothing about. Her son was in prison in Ukraine, badly wounded, and she did not know what would happen to him. She had no idea that among the people she would meet that day was someone whose own story would touch hers in […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

“Don’t Forget Us. Come Again” —
Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
