Fruits from our Jerusalem Outreach

Since we established our outreach work in Jerusalem, God has opened many doors for us to be a blessing to Israelis in need – not just practically, but more importantly, spiritually. More and more families have been joining us in Jerusalem on a weekly basis, with many new friendships being established through God’s love and grace.

Lives are being transformed and many are coming to a saving knowledge of Yeshua!

Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores His captive people,
Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.

Psalm 14:7

During last week’s outreach in Jerusalem, we welcomed many new families and we found them to be very open to the Word of God. We prayed with them, shared our testimonies, and preached the message of hope and salvation that is found in Yeshua alone. It was very evident that the Holy Spirit was present as events just flowed and everybody enjoyed a sincere time of fellowship in peace and joy.

Among some of the people whom we met was a lady called Marina, who visited us along with her two daughters. She had been a believer for a while, but her two daughters weren’t. They shared how they had seen God work in their mother’s life and were interested to know more about God and how to become followers of Yeshua. It was such a joy to spend time with them in the Word and in prayer, leaving them hungry for more of God and eager to walk a path with Yeshua as their Lord and Savior.

Another lady called Kristina came to us and mentioned how she had once believed, but that she had been offended by God after witnessing her husband fall into his old habits of addictions, after having stood in faith for his salvation for so long. Her husband is now in a rehab centre, leaving her alone at home to care for herself and her child.

Our team prayed with her and consoled with the love and Word of God. She left feeling refreshed in her spirit and said that she would like to stay in touch so that she might reignite her faith in Yeshua, and become a pillar of support for her daughter and husband until he gets back on his feet.

Our team also met a dear married couple, Alex and Sveta, who were very excited to meet us and expressed their desire to learn more about Yeshua. We took time to share the Gospel of Yeshua with them, gave them Bibles, and asked them to enroll in our next Bible School course when it kicks off again. In the meantime they asked to meet with us every week, to pray and to learn what it means to live a life of faith and to receive the salvation that is found in Yeshua.

There are many more wonderful stories that we will share over the next few weeks, as many of the people whom we met have embarked on a journey with us towards salvation in Yeshua, and pursuing lives that are pleasing to the Father. We have been sowing the seeds of salvation from God’s Word into many lives, and have been ministering and diligently praying over people’s hearts. We sow the seeds, water the seeds, but God will produce the harvest. Please stand with us in prayer for a mighty harvest through our Jerusalem outreach!

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
