Shalom (שלום) –
More Than Just Peace

Shalom (שָׁלוֹם) is one of the most well-known Hebrew words, often translated as “peace.” But in the Bible, shalom means so much more than just the absence of conflict—it speaks of wholeness, completeness, and divine well-being.

📖 Biblical Context:

“You will keep in perfect peace (shalom shalom) those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”

Isaiah 26:3

📜 Hebrew Meaning:

In Hebrew, when a word is repeated (shalom shalom), it emphasizes fullness and perfection. This verse tells us that when our trust is in God, He gives us not just peace, but perfect peace—peace that goes beyond circumstances.

✨ Application:

True shalom is not something the world can give or take away. It comes from knowing that God is in control, that He provides, protects, and restores. No matter what challenges we face, His shalom remains.
