Irina’s Journey:
When Hunger Meets God’s Fire

Sometimes God meets people not at their strongest moment, but right in the middle of exhaustion. Not when life feels ordered and calm—but when responsibilities pile up, questions remain unanswered, and strength feels thin.

Recently, a woman named Irina joined one of our discipleship courses. She is in her forties, has lived in Israel for many years, and is raising three children on her own. Like many others we meet, she carries the daily weight of responsibility that never really pauses. Over time, life had become complicated and overwhelming, and her heart was filled with questions she didn’t know how to answer.

Irina first came into contact with our ministry through our follow-up team.

They took time to listen to her story, to walk with her patiently, and to invite her—without pressure—into a space where she could explore faith honestly. At first, she came with hesitation. She later admitted that she even wondered whether the discipleship course might be a sect. Still, something deeper stirred inside her—a quiet pull she couldn’t fully explain.

Week after week, despite a demanding schedule and real pressure at home, Irina chose to keep showing up. She listened carefully. She asked honest questions. Our follow-up team continued to stay connected with her, offering encouragement, answering questions, and simply walking alongside her. Slowly, trust began to grow.

Scripture tells us, “Those who seek Me diligently will find Me” (Proverbs 8:17). That promise proved true.

What began as cautious curiosity slowly turned into real spiritual hunger. Irina stayed through the entire discipleship course, and toward the end, during a teaching on the Holy Spirit, God met her in a deeply personal way. She was overwhelmed by joy, filled with God’s presence, and—to her own surprise—began to pray in the Spirit.

There were tears.
There was joy.
There was awe.

In that moment, Irina knew—beyond doubt—that Yeshua is real, present, and actively involved in her life today, and she received Him as her Lord and Savior. Just as Yeshua promised,

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you”

Acts 1:8

We rejoice and give glory to God for Irina’s salvation and for the work of the Holy Spirit in her life.

Her testimony reminds us why follow-up and discipleship are so essential. Many people are searching. Some are cautious. Many carry wounds, disappointments, or fears shaped by past experiences. Our follow-up team helps create a safe place—space to ask honest questions, time for trust to develop, and room for the Holy Spirit to work without pressure.

Faith often grows step by step. Then one day, it becomes a living encounter with God. As Scripture says,

“Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Messiah”

Romans 10:17

Today, Irina continues forward with renewed hope, joy, and strength. Her circumstances have not suddenly disappeared. She is still a mother with many responsibilities. But she is no longer walking alone.

What changed her life was not an argument, a formula, or emotional pressure. It was God meeting her in love—through patient follow-up, faithful discipleship, and the quiet work of the Holy Spirit—at the right time, in the right place. “If anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Testimonies like Irina’s are the fruit of faithful prayer, a devoted follow-up team, and a community willing to walk with people on their journey.

If Irina’s story has touched your heart, we want to invite you to stand with us.

Discipleship like this does not happen by accident. It grows out of prayer, patient follow-up, and the steady work of men and women who walk faithfully with seekers week after week. When you pray, you are helping prepare hearts. When you give, you help create space—for courses, materials, follow-up, and the people who invest their time and care into these lives.

Your partnership makes it possible for more people like Irina to encounter Yeshua—not through pressure or arguments, but through truth, love, and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Please pray for our discipleship program, for our follow-up team, and for the many seekers who are still asking questions and searching for hope. And if the Lord leads you, consider supporting this work financially so that more lives can be touched and transformed.

Together, we can help more hearts move from hunger to faith—and from questions to a living relationship with Yeshua as Savior and Lord.

Thank you for standing with us!

From Jerusalem: A Word of Prayer and Encouragement

As we write this, we are in Jerusalem—the city of the Great King. Jerusalem holds deep meaning for believers in Jesus. This is the city where He walked, taught, prayed, suffered, died, and rose again. The Gospel was first proclaimed here, and from this place the message of salvation went out to the nations. Gathered From the Nations: Serving the Return of the Jewish People

At the heart of our faith is a simple but demanding call: to love with compassion, responsibility, and practical care. At Beit Hallel Congregation, this is not something we talk about in theory—it is something we try to live out every day. It shapes how we see people, how we respond when needs arise, and […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
