Let your Kindness Precede You
Supporting the Jewish People’s Return to Israel

When meeting Jewish people who are leaving behind the only life they ever knew and come to Israel in search of a better future for their families and children , you marvel at their courage, but you also have to ask yourself: what is my part to play in their journey? What is God calling me to do while He is busy bringing His people home?

The challenges these people face are staggering, as well as their needs when starting a new life in Israel.

Time and time again we hear the words: “We heard Christians are helping people, do you think they could help us?” — isn’t it beautiful to be known for the kindness you show?

Yeshua’s words resonate powerfully: “They will know you by your love.

While there’s a profiling biblical significance to the return of Jewish people to Israel, there is also the practical aspect, as well as the challenges families face during their first season in Israel.

When you arrive with your whole life packed into one suitcase, you find very quickly just how much you depend on the kindness of others, and how even the very basics become a luxury to you.

With hundreds of new families arriving every week, we have our work cut out for us trying to provide food baskets for as many of them as we can.

Each food basket gives each family an opportunity to put food on their table for a month as they take their first steps in Israel.

Consider blessing one family with a donation of $30 that will provide them with food supplies for a month. Alternatively a gift of $300 will help us feed 10 families!

Any gift is a beautiful reflection of the kindness and generosity that defines us as followers of Christ. Could there be a better way to show people God’s love than to help them in a time of need?

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
