“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18
Not every miracle happens in a church service or on a big stage. Sometimes, God shows up quietly—in a small apartment, on an ordinary day, with no lights or microphones. Just love. Just presence. Just Him.
That’s what happened this past week in Israel. And it all started with Mark.
A couple of months ago, Mark was diagnosed with cancer. His doctors soon told him that his body was too weak for chemotherapy. His health had taken a turn for the worse, and the hope of treatment was slipping away. He was stuck in bed, exhausted and worn down. From a medical point of view, there wasn’t much left to do.
But God hadn’t gone anywhere.
Over the next few weeks, a few of us from the ministry team started visiting Mark regularly. Nothing fancy—just prayer, worship, encouragement, and showing up. We didn’t come with big answers, just hearts full of faith and the name of Yeshua on our lips. And slowly, something began to change.
Mark started getting stronger—not all at once, but step-by-step. His energy began to return. His spirit lifted. Even his doctors noticed. Eventually, to their surprise, they gave him the green light to begin chemotherapy after all.
But what happened next was even more powerful.
This past Wednesday night, Mark told us something amazing—he wanted to do a water immersion. He had come to faith during his illness and now wanted to publicly declare that he belongs to Yeshua. There was just one problem: he was still too weak to leave the house.
So, we brought the water immersion to him.
With Pastor Israel’s blessing, we came back to Mark’s apartment with a plastic basin and a pitcher of water. There he was, sitting up in bed with an IV drip still in his arm, and we gently poured the water over his head. It was simple, quiet, and deeply holy. No big audience—just the presence of God filling the room.
Mark’s words were full of conviction. “This sickness doesn’t belong to me,” he said. “Jesus has already carried it on the cross. I believe in complete healing.” And we believe with him. We’re still praying and standing alongside him, trusting for full restoration.
This—this is why we do what we do.
We believe in meeting people right where they are. Whether it’s in a hospital room, a street corner, or a quiet apartment like Mark’s, we bring the love, truth, and hope of Yeshua. Sometimes it’s messy. Sometimes it’s slow. But it’s always worth it. Every person matters. Every moment counts.
In a country where so many carry heavy burdens—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—we’re committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus. Bringing His love close. Showing up when it’s hard. Standing in faith even when it’s not easy.
And we can’t do this without you.
Would you stand with us?
Your support helps make moments like this possible. It allows us to reach more people like Mark—people who just need someone to come close and remind them that they’re not alone. That God sees them. That He’s still healing. Still saving. Still near.
Let’s keep showing up together.
Let’s keep bringing hope into the room—one life at a time.
