Monthly Women’s Meeting—Celebrating Sisterhood

Women are the cradles of life. They not only bear and nurture it, they also infuse it with the unique blend of gentle, yet fierce strength that can only be a reflection of God’s own character.

There’s a reason why God chose women to bear life. They were created uniquely to bring forth life into this world, and they do so in so many areas of our lives.

It would be impossible to overemphasize how crucial the role of women is in our lives, both as a church and as a society.

During these High Holy days, we are organizing a special women outreach, to bring together both believers and non-believers, to create an atmosphere of sisterhood that will reach and touch the hearts of those who seek the Lord, and bring closer those that have found Him.

It’s going to be a very special meeting and we’re looking forward to how God is going to move and touch hearts.

Please pray for this upcoming women’s gathering, and consider supporting our women’s ministry through projects and outreaches like this that invest in sisterhood and raising strong female leaders in Israel.

Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) Project—Caring for New Immigrants, Widows and Orphans

When we speak about God’s love and kindness, it is especially important to reflect His character during the season of High holy days by showing that kindness in action. Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, is the upcoming 7-day feast, which references the harvest. The Sukkot season in Israel focuses on the fall harvest — the […]

The Day of Atonement In Israel
How an entire Nation spends Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur is considered the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people. Today we commemorate the Day of Atonement which represents Judgment Day; when the nation presents before the Almighty, repents for their sins seeking atonement and redemption.  It is a day of profound reflection, introspection, prayer, repentance and reconciliation, all with one […]

Jerusalem Excursion Testimony

An important part of our work as ministers in the land of Israel is to connect new Jewish immigrants to their Biblical roots in the land of Israel. It makes such an impression on people to study the Word in the very place that it was written. Once a month our outreach team takes a […]

When God Knows the Whole Story:
The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

Marina* came to our Sukkot celebration carrying a fear she could do nothing about. Her son was in prison in Ukraine, badly wounded, and she did not know what would happen to him. She had no idea that among the people she would meet that day was someone whose own story would touch hers in […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week: Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) — The LORD Is My Strength

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

“Don’t Forget Us. Come Again” —
Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
