Natalia’s Testimony – Inspiring Faith in the Most Skeptical of Hearts

The remarkable power of discipleship can be found in the beautiful testimonies we hear from those who are touched by God while searching for a glimmer of hope.

Natalia, who’s been living in Ashkelon for years, was pretty skeptical about faith. Until one day, a friend invited her to our women’s meeting. At the end of the meeting, she asked us to pray for her injured leg.

She was quite forthcoming about not believing in God, however for some reason she felt compelled to ask for prayer.

Whatever happened in those moments of prayer remains between Natalia and God, yet it stirred something in her; a desire to attend our discipleship course for seekers and newly saved.

God began His work in her, and when she finished one of the sessions, she came to us with the glow of newfound faith and said, “I was full of doubts when I first started attending the course, but God removed every single one of them! I am so captivated by Him. I know now that God exists!”

But her journey didn’t stop there. At the next discipleship session, Natalia asked for prayers for her son, a young surgeon preparing for exams. Inspired by his mom’s experience, he started believing in God and the power of prayer. Natalia shared that after our first prayer, the hematomas on her injured leg disappeared, and she could walk pain-free.

Her son, who had recommended surgery, examined her leg and called it an absolute miracle, acknowledging that it had to have been God who had healed her. He then asked his mom to request prayers for his upcoming exams.

Natalia’s story is a perfect example of how God uses the power of prayer, miracles, and the importance of discipleship.

By reaching out and inviting others to experience God’s love, we can change the course of their lives and inspire faith even in the most skeptical hearts.

Natalia’s journey reminds us that through prayer, support, and God’s power, we can bring hope, healing and salvation to those around us.

Let’s keep reaching out, sharing our faith, and inviting others to know God.

Together, we can celebrate the incredible ways God works in our lives.

The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

Marina* came to our Sukkot celebration carrying a fear she could do nothing about. Her son was in prison in Ukraine, badly wounded, and she did not know what would happen to him. She had no idea that among the people she would meet that day was someone whose own story would touch hers in […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

“Don’t Forget Us. Come Again” —
Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
