Nelly’s Testimony:
A Journey of Healing and Freedom

Nelly's testimony to healing and freedom

We are so honored to share this beautiful testimony from our sister, Nelly, who is a new Jewish immigrant to Israel and a precious part of our Beit Hallel family. Nelly joined us as a volunteer, eager to serve and connect with our community, and through her involvement, she began a personal journey that has truly transformed her life.

When Nelly first arrived, she completed the Alpha Course, which introduced people to the basics of faith in Yeshua. Eager to go deeper, she joined one of our Bible study courses, where she began learning more about God’s Word and His love for her.

It was during this time that she made the heartfelt decision to repent and place her trust in Yeshua.

Since then, she has faithfully attended our community meetings, growing in her faith and becoming a beloved part of our congregation.

About three to four months ago, we had a deeply moving conversation with Nelly at her home. In that intimate setting, Nelly opened her heart to us and shared a pain she had been carrying for 40 long years. She shared the story of her little daughter, who tragically passed away decades ago in her native Ukraine. For all those years, not a day had gone by when she didn’t remember her daughter and feel the sorrow and grief as if it were fresh. Nelly explained that she couldn’t speak about her daughter without tears, and the weight of that loss had been a constant burden on her heart, something she had carried alone for so long.

As we listened to her, we shared with her about God’s love and how He is the only one who can truly bring comfort and healing to our deepest hurts. We reminded her that the Lord promises to be near to the brokenhearted and to heal their wounds. Together, we prayed with Nelly, lifting her sorrow up to the Lord and asking Him to bring peace and freedom to her heart.

Not long ago, Nelly came to us with joyful news: since that day of prayer, she no longer experiences that same piercing pain when she remembers her daughter. The burden and grief that had haunted her for 40 years were lifted, and she felt a peace and freedom she hadn’t known in decades.

Nelly’s heart had been healed in a way only God could accomplish!

This testimony is a powerful reminder of the greatness of our God, who is our comforter, healer, and redeemer.

We give all the glory to Him for the freedom and peace He has brought to Nelly’s life.
Hallelujah!

The Prophetic Significance of Events Unfolding in Israel

We live in the days when biblical prophecies are coming to pass before our very eyes, even as we witness how the world is changing.  Today Israel is fighting a war on seven fronts: Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran. However, there’s an eight invisible front—spiritual warfare, and it is the most […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

One Family’s Journey of Aliyah, Resilience, and Belonging

“We have nowhere left to return to. We’ve already returned. Home.” These are Olga’s words, and they tell us something about the family we’ve come to know through our work at Beit Hallel. Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
