Neta’s Testimony

As Yeshua ministered on earth, signs and wonders always followed Him. This was to be one of the most important signs distinguishing His disciples and believers in His name from others. They would do the works that Yeshua did, and even greater works as He mentioned:

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

John 14:12

Recently, a woman named Neta came into contact with Beit Hallel Congregation through her dear friend Christina, who has lived in our neighboring town of Ashkelon for 27 years. Christina had often received humanitarian aid from Beit Hallel Congregation in the form of food baskets, new clothing, and furniture, which greatly helped her.

More importantly, she conveyed to Neta that she had found a family at Beit Hallel who genuinely cared about her. She explained that through their character, the message they shared, and the demonstration of God’s love, they had helped her find salvation, consolation, and peace in Yeshua. Her life had never been the same since!

Neta felt assured that this was the change she was looking for. She felt a deep need for God’s peace and the eternal hope of salvation. Christina invited Neta to join her for the monthly women’s meeting at Beit Hallel Congregation, which was due later that week.

At the women’s meeting, Neta heard the Gospel message for the first time, learning about the role Yeshua fulfilled as the Lamb of God.

She finally understood how Yeshua fit into the big picture.

She comprehended that faith in Him was the only way to be saved and to spend eternity in God’s presence.

Neta was deeply impacted by the life-changing testimony of Miriam, a mother who had recently lost her eldest son in the war with Gaza. Miriam shared how the Lord had carried her through the pain, giving her peace that surpasses understanding, knowing her son is safe in the arms of Jesus, waiting for her in Heaven.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Neta went forward for prayer to receive Yeshua and healing. After she prayed the prayer of salvation, her face radiated joy and peace, a sure sign that she had come home to God.

The next day, Neta decided to enroll in our Alpha Course, wonderful proof that the Lord had done an incredible work in her life and had awoken a hunger for more of Him in her heart. At the next seminar of our Alpha Course, Neta shared an incredible testimony with our leadership team.

During the women’s meeting, she had requested prayer for the constant pain in her legs. She declared that a few days afterward, the pain had completely left her legs! She even started running around to show our team that Yeshua had done a miracle in her legs. Hallelujah!

We praise God that miracles of healing still happen when believers pray for the sick, as the Bible said it would.

Even greater is the miracle for which the angels in Heaven rejoice when someone receives Yeshua as their Lord and Savior.
