Olga’s Testimony:
A Divine Appointment at a Beit Hallel Picnic

At a recent Beit Hallel Congregation community picnic, something extraordinary happened—a moment that could only have been orchestrated by the Lord. Among the crowd of believers was a family from the congregation, accompanied by Olga, the family’s mother who was not yet a believer.

She had come reluctantly, as her daughter Lena later shared, but God had plans for her that day.

As the family searched for a place to sit, Chaim, one of the congregation’s leaders, warmly invited them to join his table, where his home group was gathered. It was clear that Olga was hesitant, but the love and hospitality of the group quickly put her at ease. Chaim began to engage Olga in conversation, asking about her life and listening with compassion as she shared the difficult experiences she had endured over the years. It became apparent to everyone at the table that Olga was carrying deep wounds and that she needed the hope and healing that only Yeshua could bring.

Also seated at the table was Slava, a recent believer in Yeshua. As Olga shared her struggles, Slava felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to speak up. He began to share his own testimony—a story of a life once filled with pain and darkness, transformed by the saving grace of Yeshua. He spoke with such sincerity and passion that everyone at the table could feel the Spirit moving.

Even Olga, who had been hesitant and reserved, seemed visibly moved.

When Slava finished, he looked directly at Olga and said, “Olga, you need to make this decision out of your own free will. But Yeshua is ready to change your life, just as He changed mine.” Olga paused, and in that moment, it was clear God was working on her heart. She nodded and said, “Yes, I need Him.”

Without hesitation, Chaim offered to lead her in prayer, and Olga readily agreed. Together, they prayed the prayer of salvation, and Olga confessed Yeshua as her Savior and Lord. As she finished, her face lit up with a joy that could only come from the Lord. Tears flowed, and everyone at the table hugged her, celebrating this beautiful new beginning.

But God’s work didn’t stop there.

The group prayed for Olga’s healing and for the Holy Spirit to fill her. The presence of God was tangible, and Olga’s transformation was undeniable. Later, her daughter Lena shared how she had been praying for her mother’s salvation for a long time. Lena had even struggled to convince her to come to the picnic, but now her heart was overflowing with gratitude and joy. “All glory to Jesus!” Lena exclaimed.

Olga’s story is a powerful reminder that no one is too far from God’s reach. What began as a casual picnic turned into a divine appointment, orchestrated by the Holy Spirit.

We praise God for Olga’s salvation and rejoice in the hope and healing that she has found in Yeshua!

Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
