Some stories of salvation happen in a moment; others unfold quietly, like a flower opening under the warmth of the sun. Elena’s story is one of those gentle miracles — and it began through the faithful work of Beit Hallel’s follow-up team.
Elena, a new immigrant to Israel, was first contacted by our follow-up team after attending one of our evangelistic events. She seemed cautious at first — listening, observing, unsure — but the team continued to reach out with love, prayer, and encouragement. They invited her to our women’s meetings, where the Word of God began to take root in her heart.
She didn’t rush forward or make bold declarations. Yet like a seed hidden in the soil, something began to grow.
Weeks passed. Then months.
One day, Elena shared quietly, “I want to come to the congregation… I want to know God more.” It wasn’t emotional or dramatic — it was real. The seed had sprouted.
From that moment, our follow-up team walked closely with her. They met, prayed, and spoke about life and faith. Elena often asked for prayer for her grandson, a precious boy on the autism spectrum. Through those times of care and prayer, her heart softened more and more in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
She asked for a Bible. She began to read. And her hunger for God grew stronger.
Then, during one of our recent evangelistic gatherings, as she listened to the Gospel being preached with love and truth, tears filled her eyes. The Word pierced deeply into her heart. Right there, she opened her mouth and prayed the prayer of repentance — surrendering her life to Yeshua.
She believed that the moment she prayed, healing would begin — for her soul, for her body, and for her grandson. And we believe with her, trusting that
“He who began a good work in her will carry it on to completion.”
Philippians 1:6
Elena’s story reminds us that discipleship is not a sprint — it’s a journey. Some lives are transformed in an instant, while others bloom slowly through patience, love, and prayer.
“One plants, another waters — but God gives the growth.”
1 Corinthians 3:6
Elena didn’t come because of persuasion. She came because she saw love, heard truth, and felt the presence of the Holy Spirit through the care of those who never gave up on her.
And her journey isn’t over.
She still needs prayer, encouragement, and people beside her who remind her that Yeshua is faithful through every season of life.
Let her story encourage us all: Don’t stop sowing the Word, even when you don’t see results. Don’t rush the process — every heart blossoms in its own time. Don’t underestimate small seeds — they can become eternal stories.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
Please continue to pray for Elena — for her faith to grow stronger, for healing to come, and for her family to encounter the same love and salvation she has found.
This is the power of the Gospel: One seed. One heart. One prayer. And Heaven rejoices!
