Passover in the wilderness

To celebrate Passover and give our congregation a more profound experience of the real significance of this biblical feast, we organized a special night in the desert where the whole congregation celebrated the traditional Seder meal on Passover Eve.

The atmosphere was so amazing and family-like, we were 160 believers coming together in the desert to experience something so invaluable, singing, worshiping, celebrating what God has done for our nation when He took them out of bondage and brought them to the Promised Land.

The ability to give our congregation this experience in the wilderness, specifically during Passover, became much more profound.

Humanitarian work expanding to new cities!

Recently we were contacted by officials from the city of Ashkelon who inquired about our humanitarian work, and if we were able to take on some more families in need, specifically among new immigrants who were really struggling. It has aways been our passion and vision to expand our humanitarian work as much as possible, […]

New Home Group for the Hearing Impaired

A few weeks ago we had a great opportunity to conduct an outreach event for the hearing impaired. We gathered a whole bus, and went to visit some biblical places where we shared with them the gospel, allowing them the unique opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of God’s Word while standing in the very […]

When God Knows the Whole Story:
The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

Marina* came to our Sukkot celebration carrying a fear she could do nothing about. Her son was in prison in Ukraine, badly wounded, and she did not know what would happen to him. She had no idea that among the people she would meet that day was someone whose own story would touch hers in […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

“Don’t Forget Us. Come Again” —
Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
