Preparing the Next Generation: A Journey of Faith, Strength, and Discipleship

Recently, a group of our elder soldier leaders took our young ones—those soon to enter the Israel Defense Forces—on a powerful and life-changing journey into the desert. This was more than just a trip; it was a time of deep prayer, discipleship, and spiritual preparation.

As the sun rose over the vast, quiet wilderness, the weight of the moment settled in. The desert has always been a place of encounter—a place where God speaks, refines, and prepares His people for the battles ahead. For these young people, this time was crucial. In just a short while, they will step into military service, in the midst of an ongoing war in Israel, where their faith will be tested in ways they have never experienced before. They will be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually, placed in environments where they must stand firm as light in the darkness.

During our time together, we prayed over them, speaking life, courage, and God’s promises into their hearts. We opened the Word, reminding them of the many warriors of faith who came before them—men and women who stood strong, not in their own strength, but in the power of God. They shared their fears, hopes, and expectations, and our seasoned soldiers encouraged them with personal testimonies of how God has sustained them through their own military service.

As they walked through the rugged terrain, it was a reminder that their journey will not always be easy. There will be challenges, moments of exhaustion, and times when they may feel alone. But just as God led His people through the desert and never abandoned them, He will walk with them in their service. They are not just soldiers—they are disciples of Yeshua, called to reflect His love and truth wherever they go.

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Matthew 5:14

This is our prayer for them:

  • That they would be a light in the darkness, a living testimony of Yeshua among their fellow soldiers.
  • That in moments of hardship, they would rely on His strength.
  • That they would remember they are never alone, and that their faith is not just for themselves but for those around them who desperately need hope.

Please join us in praying for our young men and women who are joining the IDF.

May God equip them, strengthen them, and use them mightily for His glory as they step into this next season. Let’s stand with them, reminding them that they are part of a greater mission—one that goes beyond the battlefield and into eternity.

Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
