There is something deeply powerful about watching young people open the Word of God together in a generation filled with noise, confusion, and spiritual darkness. Every day, our youth are surrounded by voices competing for their attention—voices that tell them truth is relative, identity is self-made, and hope can be found in everything except God. The pressure they face today is unlike anything previous generations experienced. Yet in the middle of this battle for hearts and minds, we are witnessing something beautiful happening among the young people of Beit Hallel.
This week, our youth gathered once again—not simply for another meeting or social event, but for something far more important.
They came hungry to know the Lord through His Word. Led by Guy Pochtar and our youth team, the evening centered around studying 1 John chapter 1 together in small group circles, creating space not only to read Scripture, but to truly understand it and let it speak personally into their lives.
One by one, each young person read verses out loud. There was something deeply moving about hearing these young voices declare the Word of God over one another. As they read, conversations began to unfold naturally. They shared what touched their hearts, what challenged them, and what stood out to them personally. Questions were asked openly. Honest discussions followed. Together they searched the Scriptures, learning not just to read the Bible, but to encounter God through it.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105
In a world where so many young people are searching for direction in darkness, the Word of God becomes that light. This is why these gatherings matter so much. Revival is not carried by entertainment. It is carried by young men and women who know the voice of God, love His presence, and stand firmly on His truth. We believe the next generation in Israel is not lost. They are called. They are chosen. And they are being prepared even now to carry the torch of the Gospel into places many of us may never reach.
One of the most encouraging parts of the evening was watching these young people engage personally with Scripture rather than passively listening. They were thinking deeply, asking meaningful questions, and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to them through the text. Moments like these remind us that discipleship is not built in a single sermon, but through consistent investment, relationship, prayer, and the faithful teaching of God’s Word week after week.
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12
As we look at the spiritual condition of the world today, we feel an even greater urgency to strengthen and protect this generation. The enemy targets young hearts early because he fears what surrendered young people can become in the hands of God. But we also know this: when young people truly encounter Yeshua, they become bold lights in dark places. They become carriers of hope, truth, compassion, and revival to their schools, their army units, their workplaces, and their communities.
Thank you for standing with us as we continue investing into the next generation here in Israel.
Your prayers, encouragement, and support are helping create spaces where young people can grow strong in faith, rooted in Scripture, and filled with the Holy Spirit. In these critical times, raising a generation that truly knows God may be one of the most important callings before the Church today.
