Refreshing the Faithful:
A Special Retreat for Israeli Congregational Leaders

In the midst of ongoing challenges, pastors and ministry leaders in Israel carry a tremendous burden. They tirelessly serve their communities, offering hope and guidance in a land often marked by conflict. This December, we have the privilege of providing them with a rare opportunity: a retreat designed to renew their strength and refresh their spirits.

Picture this: 30 Israeli leaders leaving behind the sounds of sirens and the pressures of ministry in a conflict zone, stepping onto the peaceful shores of Cyprus. Over three days, they will participate in a unique conference that combines worship, training, and fellowship in a serene environment.

This retreat is not just a break from routine. It’s a chance for these leaders to experience God’s presence in an atmosphere of peace, to be poured into after so much pouring out, and to strengthen their resolve for the work ahead.

Serving in Israel’s unique environment is both a privilege and a challenge.

These leaders face the daily stress of guiding congregations in the midst of uncertainty. For many, the toll—both spiritually and emotionally—is significant.

This retreat offers a rare chance to pause, reflect, and be restored. It brings to mind the words of Jesus:

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Through this retreat, these leaders will have the opportunity to lay down their burdens and find rest in His presence.

This retreat is possible only through the generosity of those who stand with Israel’s leaders. The cost to sponsor one pastor or leader is $150, covering their travel, accommodations, meals, and participation in the conference.

Your support can provide:

  • A space for uninterrupted worship and prayer.
  • Practical training to empower leaders in their ministries.
  • A community of encouragement, fostering unity and shared vision.

When you support this retreat, you’re not just funding a trip—you’re sowing into the lives of those who carry the Gospel in Israel. These leaders will return to their communities with renewed strength, equipped to serve more effectively and bring hope to many.

If you feel led to sponsor a leader or contribute toward this retreat, we invite you to visit our donation page. Your generosity will leave a lasting mark on Israel’s spiritual landscape.

Let’s join together in blessing the shepherds of God’s people. Thank you for your prayers, love, and partnership in this mission.

May the Lord richly bless you for standing with His servants!

A Divine Appointment at a Beit Hallel Picnic

At a recent Beit Hallel Congregation community picnic, something extraordinary happened—a moment that could only have been orchestrated by the Lord. Among the crowd of believers was a family from the congregation, accompanied by Olga, the family’s mother who was not yet a believer. She had come reluctantly, as her daughter Lena later shared, but […]

A Light in the Darkness:
Blessing Israel’s Children in Times of War

A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. Proverbs 18:16 In a time when the shadows of conflict and uncertainty loom large over Israel, the opportunity to be a source of hope and joy is a profound privilege. There is no greater blessing than being an answer to […]

The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

Marina* came to our Sukkot celebration carrying a fear she could do nothing about. Her son was in prison in Ukraine, badly wounded, and she did not know what would happen to him. She had no idea that among the people she would meet that day was someone whose own story would touch hers in […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
