God’s Promise of Restoration
For generations, the prophets foretold the return of the Jewish people to their homeland. As Amos declares:
I will bring my people Israel back from exile. They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; they will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.
Amos 9:14
Aliyah is not just a process of relocation—it is a spiritual homecoming, a direct fulfillment of God’s promise to gather His people. Deuteronomy reminds us of God’s heart for the vulnerable:
He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.
Deuteronomy 10:18
As believers, we have a unique opportunity to embody His love by easing their burdens and providing practical help.
