Revealing the Light of Yeshua:
Christmas and Hanukkah Outreach in Jerusalem

December has a way of opening hearts in Jerusalem. The city slows down, winter lights warm the streets, and conversations naturally turn toward miracles, hope, and the stories that shaped our faith. It is a season when people who are normally guarded begin to listen — and when God prepares the soil of hearts for seeds of truth.

This year, we believe the Lord is giving us a unique opportunity to share the message of Yeshua during both Christmas and Hanukkah — two celebrations that together reveal a powerful story of God’s faithfulness to Israel.

Two Celebrations. One Light. One Messiah.

Most Israelis know Hanukkah as a joyful holiday filled with light and family traditions. But at its core, Hanukkah is a reminder that God protects His people and keeps His light shining, even in the darkest moments.

When the Jewish people were oppressed and their worship was threatened, God gave them victory and restored the Temple. And when there was only a tiny amount of oil left — barely enough for one day — God made it last for eight.

Hanukkah celebrates that miracle of preservation and faithfulness.

Christmas, on the other hand, is a holiday many Israelis recognize only from a distance. Yet its message is deeply rooted in Israel’s own story. Christmas celebrates the birth of Yeshua the Messiah, promised through the prophets — the Light sent by God into a searching and troubled world.

When seen together, these two celebrations form a beautiful picture:

  • Hanukkah shows God keeping the light alive.
  • Christmas shows God sending the Light Himself.

And when Israelis hear this connection in a gentle and meaningful way, hearts open. Curiosity awakens. Many begin to ask, perhaps for the first time, who Yeshua truly is.

Why This Season Is Ripe for Evangelism

Jerusalem carries a unique tenderness in December. Families gather, lights shine across the city, and the atmosphere becomes reflective.

New immigrants searching for stability, secular Israelis exploring spirituality, and families navigating uncertainty often find themselves asking deeper questions during this season. They want to understand the meaning behind the holidays. They want to know if God still performs miracles. They want to believe that light still breaks through darkness.

This creates a rare and natural moment for Christmas and Hanukkah evangelism — a moment we believe God has prepared for this year.

Our Christmas and Hanukkah Outreach in Jerusalem

In mid-December, we will gather 400 Israelis for a warm, relational, evangelistic evening designed to reveal the Light of Yeshua.

The outreach will include:

  • Worship that opens hearts
  • Testimonies of lives transformed by Yeshua
  • A gentle, clear presentation of the Gospel
  • Opportunities for personal prayer and conversation
  • A shared meal where trust and connection can grow
  • A guided walk through biblical sites tied to the season

This is not a lecture.
Not a program.
It is an encounter — a safe place for Israelis to experience the love and presence of God.

Many will be hearing the message of Yeshua for the very first time.

Help Bring Them to Jerusalem

To make this outreach possible, we must cover transportation, meals, the venue, and the biblical tour.

The full cost is $70 per person.

  • $70 sponsors one Israeli
  • $700 sponsors ten
  • $2,800 brings a full bus of forty

Every seat we provide becomes a place where someone may encounter the Light that changes everything.

A Short Window of Opportunity

We are in the final stage of preparation. Transportation, meals, and venue arrangements must be confirmed now.

Your partnership today directly determines how many Israelis we can bring.

This moment will not return until next year — and the hearts God has prepared for this season are ready now.

Shining Yeshua’s Light in His City

To proclaim Yeshua in the very city where He lived, taught, died, and rose again is a sacred privilege.
To do so during both Christmas and Hanukkah — the season of miracles and the season of His birth — is profoundly meaningful.

Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you for helping us reveal His light to the people of Israel.
And thank you for lifting up Yeshua in Jerusalem this December.

A Hanukkah Celebration of Welcome –
Honoring Jewish Immigrant Children and Their Families

Hanukkah is just days away — the Jewish Festival of Lights, celebrating the moment when God miraculously provided for His people. When the Temple in Jerusalem was rededicated after the Maccabean revolt, only one small jar of oil was found, enough for a single day. Yet God caused it to burn for eight full days, […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. Hebrew Word of the Week:

The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city.
