Shavuot Evangelism in Jerusalem

Sowing Hope, Reaping Salvation

As Shavuot approaches, there’s a real sense of excitement and expectation in our hearts. It’s not just because of what the feast represents, but because of what we believe God is about to do right here in Israel—even in the middle of conflict, grief, and uncertainty.

Shavuot, also known as the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost, is a special time. It comes 50 days after Passover and originally celebrated the first harvest. But for believers, it also marks the day when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the early followers of Yeshua in Jerusalem. That moment sparked a global harvest of souls—and we believe God is still in the business of pouring out His Spirit today.

This year, we’re sensing a strong call to reach out and sow seeds of hope and salvation. That’s why, during Shavuot, we’re holding a big outreach event in Jerusalem. It’s a chance for hundreds of Israelis to hear the message of Yeshua—many for the first time.

Israel is still hurting.

The war, the losses, and the uncertainty have left many people searching for hope, comfort, and truth. There’s never been a more important time to share the Good News. This upcoming event isn’t just another gathering—it’s something God has placed on our hearts. We’re preparing to speak life into the lives of people who really need it. These aren’t just crowds. They’re mothers, fathers, young soldiers, widows, and people who are truly hungry for something more.

And it doesn’t stop at the outreach.

After the event, everyone will get to visit key biblical sites in Jerusalem. They’ll walk where Yeshua walked, stand where He taught, and see where He gave His life. For many, it will be the first time the Bible comes alive—not as an ancient story, but as something deeply personal and real.

Shavuot is all about firstfruits, and we’re praying to see real firstfruits of salvation this year—people coming to faith, hearts being touched, and lives changed forever.

Yeshua said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” And just like that first Shavuot in Acts 2, we’re trusting God for a fresh move of His Spirit—right here in our generation.

Paul said it so well in Romans:

“How can they believe if they’ve never heard? And how can they hear unless someone tells them?”

Romans 10

That’s what we want to be—the ones who bring the Good News.

We’ve put a lot into this—time, prayer, resources, energy—because we believe this moment really matters. Evangelism isn’t just something we do at Beit Hallel. It’s part of who we are. It’s our heart.

And now we’re inviting you to be part of it.

Your prayers, your support, your giving—these things make it all possible. You’re part of the harvest. You’re helping fulfill prophecy. You’re standing with Israel in a way that brings eternal fruit.

Let’s not miss this moment. Let’s step into what God is doing together. Let’s keep our hearts burning and ready for the return of our King.

Join us. Pray with us. Give if you can. Believe with us.

Together, we’re sowing into something that lasts forever.

Standing Together with Syrian Druze

Reaching Across Borders with Compassion In the last few weeks, we’ve been hearing heart-wrenching stories coming out of Syria—specifically about the suffering of the Druze community in the southern region near Suwayda. These families, many of them caught in the chaos of violence and instability, are facing persecution, poverty, and a growing humanitarian crisis. Their […]

From Ashes to Beauty

Just a few days ago, the hills around Jerusalem were covered in thick smoke and glowing with flames. A small spark turned into the biggest wildfire Israel has ever seen. Whole national parks were burned down. Beautiful forests that had stood for decades were turned into ashes. It was heartbreaking to see. What was once […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
