In seasons like these in Israel, life becomes very simple. What matters most is no longer plans or routines, but the basics—safety, warmth, a place to rest, and the reassurance that someone is there with you.
Right now, across Israel, many families are living in that kind of reality. As sirens interrupt daily life, parents are gathering their children and heading into shelters—sometimes for hours, sometimes for extended periods of time. What was once normal has been replaced by uncertainty. Bedrooms are exchanged for concrete spaces. Beds become thin mats on the floor. And the small things we often take for granted begin to carry real weight.
In the middle of this, something meaningful is taking place.
Through the partnership and support we have received, we have been able to respond quickly—bringing practical help directly to families who need it most. Mattresses so children do not have to sleep on cold floors. Blankets and bedding that bring a sense of comfort in difficult conditions. Food packages that ease the burden on parents. Clothing, shoes, and basic essentials that help restore dignity in a season where so much feels unsettled.

But beyond the items themselves, something deeper is being carried into these places.
Presence. Care. A reminder that people are not alone.
Over the past days, we have seen this very clearly in cities like Ramle, where families have been staying in shelters for extended periods. Teams have been able to bring mattresses, food, and essential supplies directly into these spaces—meeting people where they are, in real time.
What stood out in a special way was that these efforts did not go unnoticed. Local media in Ramle acknowledged the work being done, highlighting the support reaching families and expressing genuine appreciation that help arrived when it was needed most.

They didn’t only speak about the distribution itself, but about what it represented—that someone showed up, that care was present, and that families were not facing this situation alone.
For us, that was meaningful to see—not for recognition, but as a reflection of what is truly happening on the ground.
Each mattress delivered, each food package handed out, each moment spent sitting with a family—these are not just acts of help, but moments of connection. Moments where a parent can breathe a little easier. Where a child can feel a sense of comfort again. Where hope becomes something tangible, even in the middle of uncertainty.
At the same time, the need around us continues.
More families are entering shelters. More parents are doing their best to steady their children through another difficult night. And for many, the question remains the same: how to get through this with what they have.

That is why the ability to respond quickly matters so much. When a family arrives in a shelter, their need is immediate—not in a week, not later, but in that moment. A mattress, food, basic supplies—simple things that can change the atmosphere from stress to care.
We are continuing to respond as these needs arise, doing our best to be present where it matters most.
And we do not take for granted that we are able to do this.
Those who stand with us—through prayer, encouragement, and support—are part of every one of these moments. What is happening on the ground is not something we carry alone. It is something we are walking in together.
Thank you for standing with us in this season. Thank you for caring, for praying, and for being part of what is happening here in Israel.

If this is on your heart, we invite you to stand with us in a practical way. Your support helps us respond immediately—bringing mattresses, food, and essential supplies to families who need them most, right when they need them.
Together, we can make sure that when a family enters a shelter, they are not alone—and that help is already there waiting for them.
