Standing with Israel’s Defenders
A Call to Action

In these turbulent days, as Israel continues to face security threats on multiple fronts, Beit Hallel Congregation is stepping forward to launch a powerful and timely initiative: a dedicated outreach to bless and support dozens of IDF reserve soldiers currently serving in our area.

These brave men and women, many of whom are fathers, mothers, students, professionals, and even new believers, are being called up at a moment’s notice. They leave behind their families, careers, and daily lives to protect the people of Israel, often under intense pressure and dangerous conditions.

And yet, despite their sacrifice, many lack essential items that the military is simply not equipped to provide, especially for reserve units. Basic comforts like clean clothing, durable gear, and even a hot drink or a place to rest can be hard to come by in their encampments

This is where we, as the Body of Messiah, can make a real and meaningful impact.

Our Mission: Comfort, Dignity & Support

At Beit Hallel, we believe it’s not only our duty—but our privilege—to come alongside these soldiers with both practical help and spiritual encouragement. Our goal is simple yet profound: to help them serve in comfort, and to remind them that they are not alone—that believers from Israel and around the world are standing with them, praying for them, and showing up with love in action.

The items below were specifically requested by the soldiers we are supporting as they serve at bases in our area, believer and nonbeliever soldiers alike, and will serve as a powerful testimony of the compassion and unity found in the Body of Messiah. It will also serve to make their day-to-day service so much easier in practical ways.

How You Can Help

Every dollar you give makes a difference. It doesn’t just provide practical aid—it brings hope, honor, and the love of Yeshua to those who are protecting Israel.

Here’s how you can take part:

  • Sponsor an item or multiple items on the list
  • Partner with your home group, church, or congregation to sponsor multiple items
  • Pray fervently for protection, strength, and salvation for each soldier
  • Share this initiative with your friends and communities

Your support is not only appreciated—it is life-giving.

The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.

Psalm 29:11

Let us be the hands and feet of Yeshua!
Bringing blessing, light, and peace to those who stand on the front lines for us all!

Salvation Returns to Jerusalem This Shavuot

For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:3 As the Feast of Shavuot (Pentecost) draws near, our hearts are filled with expectation and urgency. Here in Jerusalem—the very city where the Holy Spirit was first poured out—we are preparing for a powerful, historic evangelistic […]

Shavuot: A Feast of Harvest, Holiness, and Heart

From the rooftop overlooking Jerusalem’s Old City, where ancient stones whisper God’s story and the air hums with anticipation, we greet you as we approach the Feast of Shavuot—known to many as Pentecost. In the Scriptures, Shavuot is called Chag HaShavuot—the Feast of Weeks. God commanded Moses to count seven full weeks from Passover, beginning with […]

A Prophetic Journey to the Balkan Mountains

We are thrilled to share a unique and deeply significant opportunity opening up in just a few weeks—one that brings to life the ancient call of Acts in a fresh, modern context: A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, saying, ‘Come over to Macedonia […]

Shofar –
The Sound that still speaks

One of the most ancient and unmistakable sounds in Scripture—a sound that has echoed through the story of God and His people for generations—is once again filling the Land of Israel these days: the sound of the shofar. During Rosh HaShanah, known in Scripture as Yom Teruah, the sounding of the shofar stands at the heart […]

Let the Joy Reach Further

The Fall Feasts have always been about more than what happens around our own table. During these special weeks in Israel, families gather, familiar foods return to the table, sukkot appear on balconies and in courtyards, and we step once again into rhythms that have marked our people for generations. But woven into these biblical […]

The story they never heard

Imagine growing up in the land of the Bible, knowing the stories of Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets—and yet never realizing that the story of Yeshua belongs within that same story. For many Israelis, Yeshua is familiar only as the central figure of Christianity, someone associated with another religion and other nations. His name may […]

A Table in Jerusalem

“If it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t have had any celebration.” Those words stayed with us after our recent Rosh Hashanah gathering in Jerusalem. Around the tables were nearly 50 people, many of them olim chadashim—newly arrived in Israel, still finding their footing in a country that is now home. Some have no extended family here […]

When the Shofar Sounds:
Remember the God Who Still Speaks

As we prepare here in Israel to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets, I have been thinking about a sound that has echoed through the story of our people for thousands of years: the sound of the shofar. In Hebrew, this biblical feast is called Yom Teruah—the Day of the Shofar Blast, or the Day of Trumpet […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
HaKol Efshar (הַכֹּל אֶפְשָׁר) —
All Things Are Possible

Sometimes we face situations where we simply do not see a way forward. We have prayed, we have waited, and maybe we have done everything we know to do, but nothing seems to change. After some time, we can begin to think, “Maybe this is impossible.” The Bible is full of people who found themselves […]
