Summer for God 2025:
A Final Week of Adventure, Faith, and Life-Changing Moments

The final week of Summer for God 2025 with the Beit Hallel youth was a truly special time—one filled not only with exciting activities but also with powerful spiritual encounters and moments that will shape the lives of our young people for years to come.

We began the week with an unforgettable trip to Zavitan Park, located in the beautiful northern region of Israel. The youth set out early in the morning, ready for a day of adventure and exploration. Hiking through the stunning natural landscapes, the group was surrounded by breathtaking views of the Galilee hills and valleys.

Along the way, we stopped at a large natural reserve where everyone had the chance to cool off in the clear, refreshing waters of a natural spring. The day took an exhilarating turn as some of the youth bravely tried cliff jumping for the first time—a challenge that brought both laughter and encouragement. Throughout the day, the spirit of camaraderie was evident as friendships deepened, trust was built, and teamwork flourished.

The following day was centered on an important spiritual journey in Jerusalem, a city rich in history and faith. Our focus was the Via Dolorosa—the path believed to be walked by Yeshua during His final hours on earth. As we walked the ancient streets, the youth were invited to reflect on the profound sacrifice Yeshua made for humanity. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and quiet contemplation.

This sacred experience culminated in a deeply moving moment when Leah, one of our dedicated leadership team members, courageously shared her personal testimony. She recounted how, during this very project a few years ago, she had surrendered her life to Yeshua. Her story resonated deeply with the group, opening the door for nearly every young person present to pray a prayer of salvation right there in the heart of Jerusalem. It was a moment filled with joy and celebration, a clear sign of God’s active presence among the youth.

As the week progressed, the group shifted their focus to creative expression and outreach. The youth prepared a skit that conveyed a powerful message: sin traps us, but Yeshua alone offers true freedom and hope. Over the course of the day, the group worked together, rehearsing lines, organizing props, and fine-tuning every detail to ensure their message would be clearly communicated. This process was more than just preparation—it was an opportunity for the young people to support one another, develop confidence, and deepen their understanding of their faith through storytelling.

The week concluded with our regular youth service, which took on an extra special significance as we officially welcomed the newest members of our youth group. The evening was filled with energy and warmth as we played games, sang worship songs, and shared encouraging words from Pastor Ilya.

One of the most touching moments came when the older youth gathered around the newcomers to pray over them. This act of blessing symbolized both a heartfelt welcome and a commitment to journey together in faith, supporting one another through life’s challenges and victories. It was a deeply emotional experience that marked both an ending—the close of an incredible summer—and a new beginning for many young lives.

Looking back, this final week of Summer for God 2025 was about much more than just fun activities or sightseeing. It was a powerful testimony to God’s faithfulness, His ability to transform hearts, and the beauty of a community united in Yeshua’s love. As we ended the summer, we carried with us not only treasured memories but also a renewed passion and hunger among our youth to continue growing in their walk with God.

Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
