Testimony from the Front Lines:
When a Father Finds Faith

This week, we want to share a powerful and deeply moving testimony from the front lines—one that reminds us that even in the darkest and most uncertain times, the light of Yeshua continues to shine brightly, breaking through hardened hearts and generations of unbelief.

Haim, one of our dedicated follow-up team leaders, has been tirelessly serving alongside our dear brother Sergey, also part of our follow-up team, during the war—distributing food, praying with families, and sharing the love and hope found in the Gospel. The road hasn’t been easy. They’ve witnessed trauma, displacement, and deep human need. But in the midst of such suffering, they have also seen miracles. Not just miracles of provision, but of salvation—souls coming alive in Yeshua.

One such moment took place during a visit to the home of Shimon, a faithful believer whom we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside for many years. Shimon has often shared his burden for his elderly father, Alec—a proud Georgian man approaching his 90th birthday, once a celebrated athlete, still sharp in mind and spirit, but spiritually distant.

For years, Shimon had carried his father’s salvation as a quiet prayer in his heart. He had shared the Gospel, lived as a witness, and waited. And then, one day in the midst of war, the door opened.

When Haim and Sergey arrived with food packages and warm embraces, it was Alec himself who stepped out to meet them. For Haim, it was a long-hoped-for moment—a divine appointment. As they entered the home, Sergey began a conversation with Alec, while Haim silently prayed in the Spirit, asking the Lord for guidance and a word in season.

And then the word came to Haim: “a chasm.”

Haim gently leaned in and spoke words that pierced through years of silence:

“There is a great chasm between man and God… and the only way to cross it is through the cross of Jesus the Messiah, who reconciled us to the Father.”

It was not a dramatic moment—but a sacred one. Alec sat quietly, clearly moved. The words landed on fertile soil, as though they had been waiting for just the right moment.

Haim offered to pray with Alec—to invite Yeshua into his heart. At first, Alec hesitated. Decades of distance and doubt made it hard to say yes. But then, Shimon spoke with boldness and love, breaking the tension with a simple, powerful plea:

“Papa, these men came just for you—let’s pray.”

A holy hush fell over the room.

And then… Alec agreed.

In that moment, surrounded by the noise of distant sirens and the heaviness of war, a nearly 90-year-old man humbled himself before the Lord and prayed. He called upon the name of Yeshua, inviting Him into his heart. It was the beginning of a new journey, a quiet miracle, and a moment heaven will never forget.

After the prayer, Alec looked at the team with deep sincerity and gratitude. He thanked them warmly for visiting. Shimon later shared—eyes filled with tears and joy—that once the war ends, his father plans to attend Sergey’s home group.

God had answered years of faithful prayers—not with force or fanfare, but with gentle love and perfect timing.

“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He,
I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”

Isaiah 46:4

All glory to God!

In the ruins of conflict, He is restoring hearts. In the shadows of war, He is building His Kingdom—one soul at a time.

Thank you for standing with us—in prayer, in faith, and in support. You are part of every testimony, every breakthrough, every new beginning. Let us press on, full of hope, knowing that the Gospel never stops moving forward.

Together, we bless.
Together, we believe.
Together, we bring the light of Yeshua wherever He sends us.

When the Sirens Stop:
The Work of Comfort Begins

There is a stillness in the air. For the first time in what has felt like an eternity, the sound of rockets has paused. The ceasefire in Israel has begun. And while we do not know how long this moment will last, we are choosing to embrace it as an opportunity—a divine window to bring […]

Lev (לֵב): It All Starts in the Heart

In Hebrew, the word lev (pronounced just as it is spelled) means heart, but not just the one that beats inside your chest. In the Bible, your lev is the very center of who you are. It’s where your thoughts live, where emotions stir, where choices are made, where faith begins—and where Yeshua wants to dwell. God doesn’t just […]

The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
