Testimony of Transformation:
Lea from Jerusalem

Testimony of Transformation - Lea from Jerusalem

Lea, a woman originally from Ukraine and now living in Jerusalem as a new Jewish immigrant, has been on a profound and lifelong journey of seeking God. Her search for spiritual truth began long before she ever arrived in Israel, shaped by years of personal challenges and longing for meaning. When she first encountered us through our humanitarian projects in Jerusalem, she was in a vulnerable place, grappling with the weight of loss and uncertainty. Through this initial connection, she found a welcoming community and soon began attending several of our weekly outreach gatherings, which provided a safe space to explore matters of faith. Lea also participated in our Alpha course, where she had the opportunity to learn about Yeshua, ask deep questions, and reflect on her spiritual path in a supportive and understanding environment.

Lea’s story is one marked by deep struggle and resilience. Her home in Ukraine was severely damaged during the ongoing crisis there, leaving her with both physical and emotional scars. The pain of losing not just a house but a place filled with memories and security was a heavy burden she carried daily. Many times, she would come to the meetings in tears, visibly overwhelmed by her circumstances yet yearning for hope and healing. Despite her hardships, Lea displayed remarkable courage by opening herself up to seek God amid the turmoil of her life.

This past Thursday, during our Bible Study in Jerusalem, something truly extraordinary took place. As the group gathered to study Scripture and share fellowship, Lea experienced a powerful breakthrough. Moved deeply by the message of God’s love and truth, she felt a stirring in her heart that could no longer be ignored. In that moment of vulnerability and divine encounter, Lea made the life-changing decision to surrender her life to Yeshua. With tears streaming down her face, she prayed a heartfelt prayer of repentance, inviting the Lord into her heart and accepting Him as her Savior. It was a moment of profound transformation; her face, once marked by sorrow, now radiated a joy and hope she had never known before.

Lea’s story serves as a vivid and moving reminder of God’s boundless ability to meet us in our darkest moments, bringing healing, peace, and restoration to even the most broken places in our lives. Her journey illustrates the depth of His love and the hope He offers to all who seek Him.

As Lea embarks on this new chapter of her life in Yeshua, we ask for your prayers. Pray that she will continue to grow in her faith, find strength in His Word, and experience the ongoing comfort and provision of His presence. Let us rejoice together for this beautiful testimony of salvation and the transformative power of God’s love.

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
