Testimony:
The Power of a Mother’s Prayer

In our outreach ministry, we often plant seeds and wait patiently for God to bring the growth. But sometimes, we are blessed to witness the full bloom of His faithfulness—and this is one of those stories.

This powerful story of transformation began when twin brothers, Alon and Leon, made aliyah to Israel. Some time later, their mother, Vera, also immigrated and settled in Ashkelon.

One of the women from our Follow-Up Team met Alon and Leon early on. Sensing God’s guidance, she recognized a unique connection—her own father and brother are also twins. With this personal bridge, she began sharing about her father’s spiritual journey and how difficult it had been for him to find faith. This opened the door for genuine conversation, and soon she was introduced to their mother, Vera.

She joined us and enrolled in the Alpha course.

Not long after, she gave her life to the Lord. From that moment on, Vera became a faithful presence in our community and a fierce intercessor for her sons. She longed to see them encounter the same transforming love of Jesus that she had experienced. Her deepest prayer was that her sons would come to know the same Jesus she had come to love.

We prayed together, stayed in touch, and we all often carried those twins in our hearts during our prayers. There was something unique about them—God had a special plan.

At a gathering in Ashdod, the Follow-Up Team encountered the twins again and learned that they were now living in Jerusalem. They invited the brothers to a local fellowship there. Alon came first—and soon after, he gave his life to the Lord! Moved by his experience, he decided to attend a prayer conference, where God touched his heart even more deeply.

So deeply, in fact, that he invited his twin brother to join him.

Leon came, and the Lord met him in a powerful way. He began attending meetings in Jerusalem, drawn by the presence of God and the warmth of the community. Having experienced the grace and love of God, Leon was eager to make a full commitment. Eventually, he was invited by one of the leaders, Haim, to attend a preparation course for water baptism.

By then, his heart was ready. God met Leon powerfully.

What began with one woman’s outreach—and a mother’s faithful prayers—led to both sons stepping into the Kingdom of God.

One by one, God called them—through conversations, through connection, through prayer, and through faithful follow-up.

He is faithful.
He hears every mother’s cry.
And He knows how to draw hearts—twin hearts—home.

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
