The Lord inhabits the Praises of His People – Musical Instruments Fundraiser

Our congregation in Ashdod is a testimony to the great things that God can achieve in one’s life, despite being in constant danger and under severe threat from a powerful enemy. Beit Hallel Ashkelon is a healthy and growing congregation, which has been flourishing despite coming under frequent and intense missile attacks from Gaza during the war.

And it’s all thanks to the grace and protection of God!

A key aspect of the growth that we’ve seen at our Ashdod congregation, is the passionate praise and worship culture that God has cultivated there. Even now during this war, people flock to the meetings and services, to come before the throne of God, and to lift His name up with our voices and musical instruments.

In the Old Testament we read of how when the armies of Edom came up against Israel, Jehoshaphat commanded the armies of Israel to move out against them, and at the head of the army he appointed worshippers to praise the Lord. What happened then? The enemies of Israel were defeated!

After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendour of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.” As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

2 Chronicles 20:21-22

At this time our Ashkelon congregation is in desperate need of new musical instruments, specifically a professional keyboard and a high-quality stage monitor speaker. These are simply electronic devices, but they are important tools in the hands of our worshippers and audio technicians. We want to offer our best during worship, and having the right equipment just makes that so much more doable.

Would you be willing to sow into the worship ministry of our young Ashkelon congregation? The total of the “Kurzweil Keyboard PC4 SE” and the stage monitor speaker “Alto TX 310” come to ₪ 8,748 Shekels (around $ 2,372.49 USD).

Any gift towards this amount will make a difference and would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God bless!

The Essence of Passover
Judgment Restores justice

Passover is about freedom, deliverance, and redemption. However, it is also about God’s judgment manifested in blood.  Egypt was stricken by ten plagues for refusing to obey God’s call to let the people of Israel go. Each plague was a judgment from God, and the first one is connected to the last one.  The very […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
